SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago Waukegan/Gurnee

The furniture needed updated. Pullout bed was described as "laying on bricks "..By an 8 year old. Broken mirror, It just felt like the house keeping dept was understaffed.

Stayed there one night with my son very easy check in, very clean zero complaints

The highlight of our stay was hands down the receptionist at the front desk that checked me in and the man that was behind the bar during breakfast in the morning. Golden employees that show kindness and respect to make your stay comfortable and memorable ❤️

I have no Complaints, Beds were Comfy, breakfast was hot, the pool was Relaxing for the Kiddos 😁

The rooms are cleaned every other day, so my room was not cleaned at all during my stay.

The staff was available 24/7. Staff was always cleaning. Great lobby space to spend time as a large group. Could use a bigger breakfast area.

I didn't like the fact that I asked for a late check out and was given one but at 930 am the cleaning person was knocking on the door then as soon as i was able to fall back to sleep at about 1030 they are knocking again. 1st of all normal check out time is not until 11 therefore they shouldn't be disturbing me before that time 2nd if I was given a late check out that should have been communicated with the cleaning staff so they are not going around disrupting the customers sleep. Also I had left my key in the room when i had left earlier so I get to the hotel door and pick up the phone to get let in and no one was at the front desk and no one answered the phone. I stood out there at the door calling from the phone that is provided for you to call to get in after 15 minutes still no answer then by the time i had been waiting 20 minutes someone just happened to be leaving out so i was able to get in the door then i looked around so i could get a key to my room finally i look in the kitchen and this guy was there with a lady and he came to the front counter and made me a key. Even though it was my fault thay i left me key i should of never had to wait outside 20 minutes when there is supposed to be staffing there.
