My husband and I stayed here for one night and I was surprised at how nice it was! The recent reviews I looked at were pretty harsh so I was worried but I didn’t have an issue. One person mentioned stains on their carpet in their room but my room didn’t even have carpet. The beds were very comfy (especially compared to where I stayed the night before). Everything worked and was clean. The shower was a little old looking though and could use a clean/fix but overall very good for the price! The staff was very kind when I saw them and the location is great (right by a McDonald’s, Dunkin and Walmart). Only thing that was rough was the smell. The use glade plug ins or something in the hallway and if you have a sensitive sniffer like myself It was a bit rough. I had to air out the room some. It wasn’t a bad smell, it was supposed to smell like that after all, but I’m sensitive to perfumes and scents. Recommend they cut back on some of those air fresheners. Also loved that the windows opened a good amount! It was nice to get fresh air in and happy it didn’t only open a crack like most hotels

If you are looking for a quiet, comfy place to rest up a bit, and your fur baby is along for the adventure, then this place fits the bill. We came to explore the area and enjoy the small town feel for a few days. That's getting harder to do with a pet dog you consider family, especially without the room cost jumping enormously. This place only required $15 per night per pet, which is a good, reasonable price, especially when we experienced pet travelers always clean up after our pets and ensure they are well behaved. I would recommend for a quiet, cozy, no-frills place to rest, see the town, visit Fort Ticonderoga, and enjoy the scenery.

I was going through a fraud with this hotel, charging my credit card luckily, I took a picture very detailed before I left the room prior to that there were bedbugs all over my body and I’ve documented that and complained about that then the stuff interfered with one of my new tenants taking me to the airport because the Uber did not arrive telling her to drive with me is dangerous obviously that girl was on some kind of drugs. She looks like she was stoned the manager Samantha took advantage of her power and abused my credit card instead of apologizing. She actually charged 270 for fake cleaning. I am shocked from this hotel and hope that the owner and the corporate will call me before I take some action thank you. also, if you are allergic to animals anyway, be careful because they allowing each woman animal and they clean after that appropriate with the right chemicals.

Looks like it was never updated from 1983. Vague attempt to look like a log cabin. Large dirt spots on the carpet and my room smelled like moth balls. My room had two broken lights. The mattresses were old and lumpy. Property from the previous occupant was still hanging off the curtain rod. When checking out the desk clerk looked like he hadn’t moved since I checked in. I don’t think anyone inspects rooms or maintenance. Room rate was $242 for ONE NIGHT in this dump but the Best Western up the street was only $162 and had a restaurant on site. I told all my list of unsat things and wasn’t offered a discount or comp for future reservations. Do NOT stay here. It’s not worth even $60 a night. Corporate should burn it down and start over.

Bed was like a hard piece of wood, painful to sleep upon. Good location as it is close to the Fort Ticonderoga which is why we picked this place. Wish i had known the bed was terrible to sleep upon.

The bathroom was terrible. Mold on the shower. Shower rod about to fall off the wall. Shower head came off downspout. Dirty in corners. Tub missing grab bar. Hole in shower. Vanity was slapped together with wood/plywood that was not covered. Sheetrock on back of sink was torn and exposed. No hook on back of door; just the old bracket. Towel rack loose on wall. Light switch did not work properly between beds.

I have stayed here several times, and the past few times things have happened which have caused me to reconsider staying here again. However, it’s convenient to where I need to be, the price is right and there are few options to stay right in town. Breakfast cannot be really called that - you’re lucky to get a tiny packaged muffin and a piece of fruit. However, Walmart and restaurants are close by. Rooms have a microwave and refrigerator so you can bring your own food. This hotel has no elevators, and despite me requesting a first floor room in advance, they were unable to get me one. Not fun if you have large, heavy luggage to carry. I stayed for 3 nights this past visit, and my room was never cleaned the entire time, despite me seeing cleaning staff out in the hallway before leaving my room for the day. I had to request fresh towels and toilet paper from the front desk since they were never replenished. This is a pet-friendly property, and prior to this, I’ve never had any issues with barking dogs, however, during this visit another guest had a dog who barked very loudly on numerous occasions. Before departing, I did the pre-checkout online to specify what time I was leaving. Imagine my surprise when 25 minutes before that time, with my “Do Not Disturb” sign still on the door, cleaning staff entered my room without knocking. I was in the bathroom and not fully dressed. They claimed their sheet indicated I was already checked out. This was a bit disturbing.
