Smell in hotel was like walking into panda express with the smell throughout hotel both nights. Elevator is horrendous and wait times are insane- yes they have stairs but when you are on 5th floor with a cart full of luggage thats not acceptable.

We stayed at this hotel for an event we came to town for. Overall, the cleanliness of Ocean Key was not my favorite. Many of the sheets / towels had stains, which should be thrown out if the stains won’t come out, and be replaced.
Our second day, our door wouldn’t lock. I told the front desk, and maintenance came right up to fix it, which was great.
It was odd to have the pool and front desk area combined. It’s really humid in that area.
The staff was fairly nice / personable, but I don’t believe we would stay here again.

The pictures that they posted on the website, Expedia look nothing like the actual property. It is rundown and pretty dirty. There’s no housekeeping I had to clean my own room and change my own sheets.

Avoid this place at all costs. It’s not worth it to stay here. Do yourself a favor and choose another place!
The property is dark and grungy. The room was awkward, dirty and everything was broken or missing it seemed. On the particular day I was going to stay, the AC was down and it was ridiculously hot. The front desk personnel didn’t seem to care or want to share except when I probed them. One of them had a smirk when I mentioned it and started asking them questions.
Honesty would be nice, not just filling dirty-broken rooms.
Traveler beware and don’t stay here!!!

Room was exactly what we needed but the door continually beeped and tub water wouldn’t shut off. One whole day and night with no air conditioning. One day with no pool. They never cleaned our room.

My 3.5 year old son and I stayed here for 4 nights. The scenery was beautiful! The bathroom in our suite needed a little TLC especially the tile in the shower. The pool was a fun experience. However, I feel as if the pool area could be a little cleaner. The floor surrounding the pool was a little dirty. However, our stay was enjoyable and the staff were very friendly! We will be back again.

I have stayed at this hotel before and I do not recall it being so dirty. My sheets and floor were clean. I asked for housekeeping and I was told they you charge me to clean the room. This hotel needs to be renovated. It is so tired and broken in the rooms. We were first put in a room that faced the back and when I called to ask about my reservation being an ocean front room the person at the desk made the switch. The people at this hotel were not friendly. Asking for clean sheets and towels was a real challenge for them. I will not stay at this hotel ever again.

Stayed one night while visiting family in the area. Room was as expected with no issues. Would loved to have enjoyed the pool area and taken advantage of the massage service but did not have time. Would stay again when returning to the area.
