Indoor Pool is cold and they do not spend enough on heating during winter.Forget about relaxing in the Spa.
Breakfast time ends on the dot. Good luck if you need a extra cup of coffee. I never saw food disappearing so fast. Guinness book contestant.
Fancy Illy coffee cups in the room. Only the cups so you can enjoy the lousy instant regional coffee.

Service was terrible, non existence.
Room was missing amenities in the bathroom. Did not provide water or coffee capsules (have to buy them) the room did not have a clock or speaker. The quality has gone down very badly

The facilities are just a dream and the bed something to look forward to at the end of each day. I spent a week there and I’m already looking

The only down side is that although I am a recurring customer that did not accommodate an early check in since my flight arrived early morning. That was a down point and something to consider when book.

We ate at the hotel restaurant, 1921. The service was attentive, pleasant and all-out welcoming. Gonzalo was very knowledgeable and his hospitality was second to none. We were able to try and enjoy local wine that he recommended and his ability to speak English was an added bonus. The staff and hotel are amazing and any would-be traveler to Montevideo should make a point to have dinner at "1921" and afterwards head to reception and reserve a room. Fantastic!
