Hanoi Brilliant Hotel and Spa

Our stayed at Hanoi Brillant Hotel for a family vacation and the staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Rosie was so sweet and helped us with our entire stay getting us information with places to eat, things to do, and the best way to exchange our money.

Stayed at this location to be close to the lake but still be in Old Quarter. This location is excellent, close to everything but not the crazy Beer Street vibe. Perfect location for someone who wants to be close to all the action but not in the middle of all the crazies, lol. They also have a massage place and it was heavenly!!

Will definitely be staying here again!

Really enjoyed our stay at this small hotel. The staff were amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful in arranging tours and transport. It was nice that they took a genuine interest in us enjoying our time in Hanoi. The location is fantastic, being right in the heart of the old quarter with endless food and drink options on your doorstep. Loved the beautiful reception area which creates a strong first impression and the family room we stated in was huge. Although the balcony is a little too small to be a usable space, we did enjoy the views of the city that it gave us. Breakfast was nice with a good range, considering the size of the hotel, and the dining room was small and quiet making a nice change to the larger hotels. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

We only stayed one night at this property, but it was spacious easy to find and definitely met our needs. The staff was so helpful. They kept our luggage for us a day after we had checked out while we were waiting for our trip to the airport. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend.

Nice central location with walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, sightseeing etc. You have noice from other room when using toilet and shower

My wife and I, and her friend visited this property--and Hanoi--for the first time. Here are my observations: STRENGTHS: - STAFF: The hotel staff are EXTRAORDINARY. They were always available, helpful, polite, and answered my many questions. - LOCATION: The location was perfect! We're were within walking distance of all the important sites and restaurants (everything else) was literally steps from the hotel. - HOTEL SERVICES: The hotel offered massages, facials, tours, and included breakfast (which was amazing), and we enjoyed all of them and they did not disappoint. WEAKNESSES: - CLEANLINESS: The hotel was clean, but the the bathrooms and shower had mold and mildew. Also, it appeared that staff didn't clean the floor so we cleaned it ourselves. - ROOM RESERVATIONS: We had a reserved/purchased a room with a balcony to the front of the hotel, but when we arrived they said they didn't have one for us, but they could check later in during the week. We just decided to stay in a different room, which was cheaper so we could've saved money at the outset. Overall, this was a great hotel notwithstanding the weaknesses. I would definitely stay here again!

You can’t beat the staff at this hotel, Rosie and Mymy at front desk are fantastic and will help you with anything and speak pretty good English which makes it easier for us.All the boys at front door are great with their big smiles. We booked with them to go to Halong Bay overnight, was great. Great spot in old quarter to go for walks, restaurants, sightseeing, catch on and hop off bus etc. I really enjoyed our stay in in family suite which is big, Brekky good, older style boutique hotel but love it. I’ll miss you guys❤️

Location was great. The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's got a cool vibe that works with the chaotic atmosphere of the old quarter. I had booked a couple months in advance, paying just 60 Canadian dollars before tax per night. It's not the Four Seasons but it is a solid choice for enjoying hanoi's old quarter.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location, breakfast was great, the only thing we didn’t like is the hallway is very narrow dark the room is comfortable but toilet lighting is not good enough specially when we try to use the mirror quite dark. Ladies like bright lights.

We had the terrace room. Terrace and room were a good size. Clean bed/bedding and toilet. Easy walking distance to shops, street food and locations for cooking class/tours etc. Breakfast was small, only 4-5 bainmaries, a 2 bread toaster (the one you’d have at home) and a selection of juice, sweets, dairy, fruit and eggs cooked your way.

Fantastic location with even better staff! Vivian, Finn at the front desk and Jennie and Vicky in the spa were excellent!! I rated service lower only because of housekeeping. We hung the door sign out 3 mornings and never got service. Room wasn’t the cleanest upon check in either- floors were dirty. Everything else was great.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel’s location in the heart of the old town is unbeatable – it’s just a short walk to many major attractions, making it super convenient for exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, which made our experience even more enjoyable. One highlight was the coffee from the café at the front of the hotel – hands down some of the best we had during our trip to Vietnam! We also tried the massage service, which was professional and very relaxing. While it was pricier compared to other places, the quality and overall experience made it worth it. Accommodation-wise, the family room was large, comfortable, and perfect for our needs. However, the deluxe room felt a bit small in comparison, so keep that in mind when booking. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely recommend this place, especially for its location and service. We also organised our airport pick up through the hotel which was very smooth too, with quick responses to ease our mind while we were in transit.

The location is convenient for transportation and shopping. It faces the main street, which is also convenient. Most of the last years staff left in this summer, which was inconvenient, but the old staff have returned. The layout of the reception has changed, which is a little inconvenient. Strangely, there are carp laid out at the entrance, but since it is not a biotope, I don't think they will last for many years.
