It’s supposed to be a five star hotel yet my experience suggests otherwise. I booked two rooms, one of which had no natural light just an inner courtyard lit by artificial light. The room was musty and in the other room, the air-con broke down that took a day to repair. It’s like stepping back in time with French music (of the accordion variety) played in the lifts and common areas. It’s a bit tired. The positives? Good views from the bar at the top and nothing wrong with the breakfast. Bed comfortable. Good location.

Hotel is 100 year old so certain things like size and structure are not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. However, the staff and service is amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful. Breakfast has a lot of variety and very tasty.
