It was a great experience! Lovely hotel. It's like you turn back to olden times. I like the structure and the interior elements. It's the old Saigon. The staff are very helpful and they are very accommodating. The hotel is just in front of the Saigon Plaza. I love the whole set up. I got chocolate from the staff also at night. Lovely hotel! My business trip was amazing with that hotel! I can work and at the same time enjoy the view.

Overall it was great. The staff are great, and made the experience a good memory. But at the price and with 5-stars, I was surprised to see multiple issues that could be addressed with a little more attention to detail and some basic maintenance. Just a random example is a hairdryer in our room that was obviously majorly cracked and looked unsafe to use. It worked and likely got dismissed by staff as “well it works, right?” For other 5-star hotels at this price, I expect it would get replaced immediately.

Location is very good, near to lots of spots, easy to find food. Easy to Grab for transport. Hotel staff are not unfriendly, at the same time, not that friendly either. Just doing their jobs. Water pressure in the bathroom is not fantastic at all.

From the moment of arrival to the last of our stay the service and amenity were nothing but outstanding!! Every member of the staff team went out of their way to meet our every need, and more!! Nhu, Chi & Tu at the Rooftop Garden bar, Linh at the wellness centre all deserve a special mention. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. They even arranged a surprise birthday cake for my partner! We will certainly return to The Rex!!!

Excellent location walking around beautiful high brand boutiques and other shopping centres. So handy. The best of the best except staff of the hotel at reception counter and waitering bar have no politeness to customers. Particularly the operator who answered the room service had asked the hotel guest to walk down the reception to get the item ourselves. Bad service

I had such a great stay at Rex. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. My room was really clean and cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed. Overall, it was a really nice experience, and I’d definitely stay here again!
