Esplanade Hotel Llandudno

Stayed on room 305. Few marks on walls which could easily be cleaned off. Beds comfortable and clean bedding. Bathroom very dark but clean. Furniture somewhat at angles due to uneven floor. Breakfast in the goat varied and fresh and staff Sarah and Gaz coped very well with busy breakfast room on 2 days we stayed. Nothing was too much trouble. Have used restaurant previously and would recommend. Would stay again but request different room.

Fantastic hotel we went as a family With our 3 children it was excellent

We really enjoyed our stay would highly recommend, just one thought it would be ideal to have a small fridge in the room so we could've stored drinks as it was really warm and something cold would of been appreciated.

We stayed for 2 nights here. Hotel room was clean. It is very close to the beach and the pier. Staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the restaurant was great and the staff at the goat were amazing as well. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Overall, very good. Foyer and restaurant great. Breakfast really good and well worth paying for. Staff kind and helpful. Room perfectly serviceable. Location excellent. A couple of minor points for improvement - hallways shabby with dirty carpets, our room had a wet room / disabled shower - would have preferred normal shower or bath.

Perfect place to stay for a weekend away

It was so dirty and dilapidated, we spent our first night finding a different hotel. I’m shocked that average reviews are as good as they are. Carpets have tears, fraying, and copious stains. Railing, jambs, and all high touch areas are grimy with chipped paint.

Was amazing with beautiful seaside view

Only one problem parking is very hard to find other than that the hotel is excellent and the restaurant and bows excellent

Great location. Parking is very limited. Breakfast very good value. Beds are good....but very tired rooms. Great sea views. Staff are helpful.

Internet was really a no go and i needed it this as i am a carer there was no seat in the wet room and really big stains on the carpet i. tbe bedroom and all of the hallway floors

Well situated hotel, some areas in need of upgrade. Our room was lovely but too hot, we were supplied with 2 fans which helped a bit, staff were lovely, very friendly and very helpful. Beds were very comfortable internet access was actually awful but not the fault of the hotel. Food was great, breakfast buffet could have more choices

Triple room, plenty of space comfortable with appropriate tea coffee facility. 2 rooms separated by an archway, pleasant suprise. Clean bathroom. Carpets were stained and room was too hot for us, only one small fan provided. Fortunately i had spoken to the hotel beforehand and taken my own. Excellent customer service, friendly and helpful, very welcoming. Easy check-in and check-out process. Parked on a side street no space in the small car park over the 3 days. The main road is also very busy. Location is excellent, across the road to tye beach, close to shops and petrol station at Asda. Also very clise to halal food options.

I think in terms of cleanliness they need to improve. Carpets had stains everywhere, we stayed for 3 nights and our room was not cleaned the entire time

Nice Hotel on the front near the pier. Clean and spacious room, good room facilities and parking included. Overall a good stay.

The room was ok, but the noise upstairs was really loud, everytime they used the toilet and flushed it fell like it was going to come down leaking, we can hear the bathroom noises upstairs and it was loud till early hours which in return affected our sleep. Staff were excellent but unhappy with the room noise levels

I’m extremely disappointed with our recent stay due to a very upsetting experience at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant staff were not only unhelpful but outright rude when we asked them to warm up food for my autistic child - something we’ve never had an issue with at any other establishment. Despite explaining the importance and necessity of warming up his food due to sensory sensitivities, staff refused and dismissed our request with little empathy or understanding. The lack of basic accommodation felt discriminatory and left out family feeling unwelcome and marginalised. Hotels should be safe, inclusive for all guests, especially children with disabilities. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated a lack of awareness and training that is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. Until proper training is implemented and steps are taken to prevent such discriminatory behaviour, I cannot recommend this hotel to families with special needs. Also, the shower had no water flow.

Nice friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Excellent room with 3 single beds. Pleanty of tea, coffee hot chocolate etc.
