Our first time staying here. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the heads up on A55 problems and that there was a silent fan in our comfortable bedroom on one of the warmest days of the year. The evening meal and breakfast were very good too. We will be back.

Whilst the room was lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly, the shower in our room was unbearably hot. I scalded my feet whilst attempting to turn the temperature down. Now I know how lobsters and crabs feel!!! For dinner I orderered leek and potato soup. It tasted unlike any leek and potato soup I've ever eaten - sour, as if a lot of lemon juice had been added. I sent it and ordered arancini on a bed of squished tomatoes. Once again, it was very sour tasting. I didn't mention it as the kitchen had closed at 8pm!!! My husband's pie was excellent. The breakfast was fine and my husband had no complaints about it. I only ever have toast. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and I will return if the hot water situation is resolved. Maybe I'll eat elsewhere

A lovely friendly hotel. Very well kept. A nicely decorated room with lovely furniture. Great power shower! The only downside for me was the mattress, it just needs replacing. When you don’t sleep well it’s a shame. The breakfast was lovely, there was a large selection to choose from. A lovely stay!

This stay was amazing, the staff are so friendly and the whole place is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The rooms are really lovely and well equipped, with things like a mini fridge, bottled water and squash provided as well as a great range of hot drinks and luxury toiletries. The restaurant food was good and they were really fabulous accommodating us at short notice. Breakfast was also really delicious and plentiful. The main highlight for us though was the dog friendliness. Little treats and a water bowl in the bar, access to a space in the car park/beer garden to give the dog some exercise and the best bit, a special doggy sausage at breakfast! This really made our trip - thank you!

An overnight stop before catching a ferry the next morning. Lovely pub, which was busy on our arrival at 8pm. Menu good and food was enjoyable but mains arrived instantly as soon as we’d finished our starters, which made our meal feel a bit rushed. Our room was wonderful- all rooms are locally themed- well decorated, comfortable with every sort of tea & coffee you could ever imagine! Peaceful area on beautiful Anglesey.
