Book Qatar Airways (QR) flights on Traveloka for journeys to Doha and international connections. Start with the choice between Economy Lite, Classic, Convenience and Comfort: they differ in checked baggage, advance seat selection and permission to change the trip. Business Lite, Classic, Comfort and Elite add a separate comparison of lounge access and seat-selection benefits.
Economy Lite suits a fixed itinerary: the airline's fare-attribute policy does not permit changes or cancellations. Economy Classic permits changes for a fee. Economy Convenience includes one change without a change fee, with a fee for later changes, while Economy Comfort has the airline's full-flexibility designation. A waived change fee is not a promise that a more expensive replacement flight costs the same.
On the standard weight-based routes outside Africa and the Americas, the checked allowances are 20 kg for Lite, 25 kg for Classic, 30 kg for Convenience and 35 kg for Comfort. A traveller needing 30 kg and an advance Standard Seat can get both through Convenience; Classic has a smaller included allowance and charges for advance Standard Seat selection.
Convenience and Comfort include Standard Seat selection from booking. Standard Seats include ordinary window, aisle and middle seats, excluding front-row and exit-row seats. The airline lists advance Standard Seat selection on Lite at USD 9–48 per passenger per sector, while available Standard Seats become free during check-in. On a connecting journey, a per-sector seat charge can apply more than once.
Compare the complete cost of the lower fare plus extra baggage and any paid seat with the more inclusive fare. Comfort's flexibility and 35 kg allowance can be useful for a trip likely to change; Convenience can serve a traveller who needs 30 kg and wants to choose an ordinary seat in advance. These are Economy fare products, rather than separate premium cabins.
For flights to or from Africa or the Americas, Economy Lite includes one checked piece up to 23 kg. Classic, Convenience and Comfort include two pieces up to 23 kg each. Here, moving from Classic to Convenience does not increase the standard checked allowance, even though it changes the advance-seat and change-fee benefits.
The standard Business allowance on those routes is two checked pieces up to 32 kg each across all four Business fare families. On the airline's other standard weight-based routes, all four Business families include 40 kg in total. An individual checked bag must not exceed 32 kg, so a 40 kg total allowance does not permit one 40 kg suitcase. Route exceptions and partner-operated sectors can affect the applicable allowance.
Business Lite excludes complimentary Al Mourjan Business Lounge access in Doha. The airline's eligibility chart for Qatar Airways-issued tickets on Qatar Airways-operated flights includes that lounge with Business Classic, Comfort and Elite. Business Lite passengers can purchase eligible lounge access separately. Loyalty-tier access to other lounges is a separate benefit.
Paying for Business Classic instead of Lite therefore buys a different lounge inclusion, rather than another 10 kg of checked baggage. Business Comfort and Elite also include advance seat selection at no additional cost. Preferred Business seats on Classic and Lite can carry an advance fee; available preferred seats become free at check-in.
Qsuite is a Business seating product with Single, Twin, Double and Quad configurations, including movable panels for travelling together. A fare-family name identifies ticket benefits; it should not be treated as a guarantee of a particular Qsuite layout. On a mixed-cabin itinerary, the cabin on each sector matters to the experience.
The standard Economy cabin allowance is one piece up to 7 kg. Business permits two pieces with a combined weight up to 15 kg, rather than 15 kg each. The published maximum dimensions for each cabin piece are 50 × 37 × 25 cm. Laptops and their bags must fit within the hand-baggage allowance.
The airline separately permits listed personal items, including a small handbag or briefcase, a coat and a small camera. For eligible tickets issued in Brazil on flights to or from Brazil, the Economy hand-baggage limit is one piece up to 10 kg. The airline also lists a one-cabin-piece plus one-personal-item restriction for departures from the United States.
For most eligible Qatar Airways journeys, online check-in is available from 48 hours until 90 minutes before departure. Flights from the United States open 24 hours before departure; check-in for flights to the United States opens 24 hours before departure from Doha. The airline makes online check-in available for its own operated flights and journeys whose first sector it operates.
A QR flight number on a partner-operated first sector does not by itself establish eligibility for Qatar Airways online check-in. For a short-notice trip, the operating carrier and the first sector therefore matter as much as the airline code. The 90-minute online deadline is separate from airport counter and bag-drop deadlines, and does not establish a Traveloka purchase cutoff or instant ticket issuance.
Qatar Airways' Manage Booking form uses the airline booking reference and passenger's last name. A Traveloka Booking ID serves a different process: open your account itinerary or use Traveloka flight retrieval with Booking ID, departure date and the original booking mobile number.
For a Traveloka purchase, use the available Traveloka support process for servicing that booking. Retrieving the reservation is separate from approval of a change, any additional payment and reissue. Economy Lite's no-change condition, Classic's change fee and Convenience's one included change remain meaningful differences when choosing the original ticket.
For a journey via Doha, compare the cabin on each leg, the connection time and the bags included for the whole itinerary. Partner-operated or separately ticketed flights can have different baggage and check-in arrangements. A Business label on one leg does not establish Business seating or lounge benefits on every leg.
For flexible dates, Traveloka Price Alerts can monitor prices without reserving a seat. The practical saving comparison is the fare plus the baggage, seat selection and lounge access you would otherwise buy, together with the flexibility your trip needs.
Lite does not permit changes or cancellations under the airline’s current fare-attribute policy. Classic permits changes for a fee. Convenience includes one change without a change fee, then a fee applies. On standard weight-based routes, their checked allowances are 20 kg, 25 kg and 30 kg respectively; a waived change fee does not guarantee the same price on a more expensive replacement flight.
Yes, it includes advance Standard Seat selection, as does Comfort. Standard Seats are ordinary window, aisle and middle seats, excluding front and exit rows. Classic charges for advance Standard selection. Available Standard Seats are free during check-in; other seat products have their own conditions.
No. Standard weight-based Economy allowances are Lite 20 kg, Classic 25 kg, Convenience 30 kg and Comfort 35 kg. For Africa or the Americas, Lite has one piece up to 23 kg and the other three families have two pieces up to 23 kg each. Route exceptions and partner sectors can change the applicable allowance.
Complimentary Al Mourjan access is excluded from Business Lite. The airline’s chart for Qatar Airways-issued tickets on Qatar Airways-operated flights includes it with Business Classic, Comfort and Elite. Eligible paid access and loyalty-tier benefits are separate from the Business Lite fare.
Their standard checked allowances are the same: 40 kg on the airline’s weight-based routes, or two pieces up to 32 kg each for Africa and the Americas. Classic’s included Al Mourjan access is a meaningful difference. Business Comfort and Elite add complimentary advance seat selection.
The standard Business allowance is two pieces with a combined weight up to 15 kg, each within 50 × 37 × 25 cm. It is not 15 kg per piece. Departures from the United States have the airline’s stated one-cabin-piece plus one-personal-item restriction.
For most eligible flights, it runs from 48 hours to 90 minutes before departure. Flights from the United States open 24 hours before departure; flights to the United States open 24 hours before departure from Doha. The first operating carrier affects eligibility.
Not automatically. The published service covers Qatar Airways-operated flights and journeys whose first sector is operated by Qatar Airways. A QR code on a partner-operated first sector does not by itself establish eligibility. Online check-in and the airport’s counter or bag-drop deadlines are separate.
Qatar Airways Manage Booking asks for the airline booking reference and last name. Traveloka flight retrieval instead asks for Traveloka Booking ID, departure date and original booking mobile number. Open your Traveloka account itinerary for a Traveloka purchase; retrieval does not itself approve a change or refund.
No. An individual checked piece must not exceed 32 kg. A 40 kg weight allowance is a combined total across acceptable pieces, while Africa and the Americas use the stated piece-based allowances. Other aircraft and route restrictions may also apply.
