The hotel itself is OK, reasonably convenient location but the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, have me a site back which o suffered for 2 days as a result. Could hardly sleep. Bad enough I would never recommend or stay there again.

It is not totally unsatisfying as there were just a few quirks that caused quite an inconvenience to us. One was the tub drain stopper that wasn't really working as the water still drained however this was resolved when a maintenance personnel came. Another was the phone that kept on disconnecting which the other maintenance personnel was not able to fix totally. He even left cable trimmings on my slipper when he left. The duty manager sent some complimentary fruits however in the morning which we appreciates. Lastly was that the key card was no longer working as we were about to check out. It took some time for someone to come up which was quite a wait for us having to stand at the hallway. Our previous stays at the hotel were great, it's just this most previous one that could have been better considering it was for 2 nights.

It was enjoyable, check in process, room and overall hotel staff were awesome. However, valet service could still improve by being more cautious especially when driving a super car. Mags were scratched due to carelessness

My room was quite spacious, modern and clean. Check-in and check-out process was a breeze. Suggestion for travelers to get higher floors for a better view of Makati City. Overall, an great stay experience!

Ambiance is truly great. But most hotels provide unlimited bottled water for free. In here, you have to get it at the bar for a cost.

The room we paid for only has toiletries and towel for 1 person which supposed to have 3 sets for 3 people and the requested items came after 2 hours. I needed to call twice. Check in is also too long. The room is clean and neat though.

It’s not an ideal place to stay if you want comfortable stay while in Manila either on a business trip or vacation. The rooms and carpets were dirty and smelly. While I was occupying one of their room, I was not able to sleep due to the noise from the street. I was promised that this issue will not happen again on my return back at their hotel on the 16 December 2018 however when I checked in again, I was advised that there was nothing on the system that records about the matter and I feel that they were up selling their other rooms which I declined to accept. With this, I feel misled and that they were trying to rip me off as an Australian tourist. Consequently, I did not feel safe and worried for my health due to the awful smell of their carpets and dirty room. It appears that their staff (including hotel managers) pattern of behavior are not receptive to feedback as my complaints were ignored and made a number of excuses when I requested to speak to their general manager that he is not always on duty. A hand written formal complaints were issued to the next level manager named Mr. Bridle (Chief Operating Officer) however I received no email reply until now to confirm that he even received it. The hotel managers have refused to provide me the email address of Mr. Bridle to pass on my negative experience while staying at New World Makati Hotel. After this, it appears that one of their staff made an attempt to attack me on my Facebook account which I considered very offensive, unwelcome and unprofessional. Before leaving the hotel, I was promised that they will liaise with my travel agency to get the full refund immediately but when I contact my travel agency, it appears that they don’t have a clue about this matter. Overall, I will not recommend this old hotel to my family, friends and business associates.
