Great service and amenities. The pool area was amazing. Had a nice little balcony overlooking the pool. Room was clean and well stocked.

Room was clean and comfortable but hallways and common areas were in desperate need of a refresh and renovation. Hallways were dark, had ripped curtains and even two mouse traps a few feet from our room door.

The house keeping service was not that good in my opinion. My son got our bed wet the second night, so we told the front desk in the morning we would need to change the bed sheets. The staff said noted, and they would tell the house keeping to change it for us. We went out at around 9am, and went back at around 3:30pm. We found that no bedsheets were changed, no cleaning was done but to collect all the garbage from the bins. The bathroom floor was not clean, dirty towels were still in the bathroom. I guess they expected the cleaning was done? We called the staff to come and take a look, she said we had the personal item on the bed, that’s why they did not change it (it was my son’s blanket. I never heard of that as my son always put his stuff animal and toys on the bed when we left, all the other house keeping just put them aside or put them back on the bed nicely). Anyways, they said they were working on another rooms, but they would come back and change it for us. We went out for dinner and came back at 9:15pm, everything was not cleaned. So we called the front desk again. They said they would send someone and change it for us. However, no one came, so we called the second time. The staff showed up at 10:10pm and handed me the clean bed sheets. I asked if he would change it for us, he said “No, I am off and they just asked me to bring the bed sheets to you” It’s my first time changing bedsheets when staying in a hotel, and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was a nice relaxing stay in town, they are going through renovations so it does look a little run down in some spots

The staff were friendly upon checkin and during our interactions with them while there. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette. The room was not fully cleaned when we came in and found multiple dirty dishes in the cabinets. The Kitchenette had a hot plate, a toaster oven, small coffee pot and a pot and pan. However plates, bowls and silverware were limited and we ended up having to buy paper plates and utensils for our stay. The pool worked for the kids and the hotel was prompt in shutting it down at 1000 pm.

Convenient location for us so we stay at the Sandman while in Kelowna. Rooms are spacious and clean. Lots of dining options in the hotel and within walking distance.

A little noisy at times hallway doors slamming people talking loudly in hallways etc. Windows were not soundproof so traffic from the streets below was loud even though the room was on the 5th floor!! Two buildings requiring initial adjustments in parking and room access after checking in. Hotel was busy so parking was in short supply but ok.

Overall, I'd say this hotel was average. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and did what I needed it to do, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The biggest downside was the room location. I was on the third floor, but there wasn't an elevator to my section. Getting to my room meant going up stairs, through a long hallway, down more stairs, and through another door. With luggage, it was frustrating, and I couldn't help but wonder how an elderly guest or someone with mobility issues would manage. The hotel is definitely showing its age. There was visible damage in the hallways, worn carpets, and peeling wallpaper. None of it ruined my stay, but it does make the property feel overdue for some updates. I paid about $255 for one night, which felt expensive for what was ultimately an average hotel. That said, I also knew Kelowna prices were high when I booked, and it was still one of the more affordable options available. Would I stay here again? If the price was right, probably. I wouldn't discourage others from staying here, but I'd describe it as an average hotel with friendly staff that could really benefit from renovations and better accessibility.

In a convenient location! Our room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice. The gym was well equipped for a hotel. And the 24/7 Denny’s was a bonus
