The property was not in great condition. The hallway rugs were stained and the building and lobby were pretty run down. They did make attempts to make it nicer with a UD room filled with college spirit items. Inside the rooms the pillows were very skimpy and square like old couch pillows. There were no extra pillows at the front desk when we asked probably because everyone needed extras. The bathroom was clean though with the fake plastic shower that is installed whole. But very clean. The best part of the stay was the breakfast room with lots of options.

My stay was alright. The staff is very nice here but isn’t very clean and everything is very outdated. I went to the gym the elliptical was broken. Not enough equipment to get a really good work out.

Good property for the price point, i spoke to property manager about itchy linens. checking in and out was easy. well lit parking area at night

The shower was nice, seemed like that was the only upgrade in the room. The breakfast was also decent and filling.

Bed and pillow were so uncomfortably I only slept 3-4hr. Slept by the window and could hear every noise from the street. Walls were thin, I could hear above people steps and water running. Recommend to request toom in the top floor and the back of the buikding

Property and room very clean only issue was breakfast wasn’t good at all. Bacon was tough as leather and hard boiled eggs was tough as well both mornings

Location. DIRTY... Needs complete gut job.

I stayed 3 nights in August and loved the quiet location, cleanliness, comfortable bed, and location, accessible to businesses and eateries in Newark. I would like to stay there again, especially if UD is not in session, when the surroundings are so quiet.

Close to the I95 so great for travelers. Inexpensive and perfectly adequate. Ery unique self contained space age shower, though it did leak all over the tile floor!

Bugs bugs bugs and more bugs.

The trip was for a vist with friends. It was conveniently located to the various venues. Manager at the time of checkin was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. I will say I have not seen the type of shower but it was all clean. There is no tub. Vanity is just outside the bathroom in the room.

Convenient location, nice and clean, facilities for the price. Included a decent and well stocked continental breakfast.

Overall, it was good stay. Despite being across from the University of Delaware the area wasn’t the greatest. Panhandlers and some strange folk were around, but you can’t fault the hotel for that. As for the hotel itself it was a bit older than others in the area, but I found the room nice albeit a bit heavy on pine tree air freshener. The place gets an extra star simply because the lady at reception was super friendly and helpful. I needed to use the “business center” (that’s misleading it’s an iPad only) for printing and the printer was non functional. However, the lady was ultra nice and let me print to hotel’s printer even though I needed a lot of forms. She was very understanding. Bed, shower, etc were all fine for a quick few nights.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked everything about the property except the size if the beds. There should be a room option with 2 queen size beds, not just 2 full beds.
