Bar and restaurant was closed WiFi awful but hotel is clean and a good location not to far of a walk to the night markets and the lagoon

Great hotel, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Good location and very nice rooms with loads of space and great bathrooms with fantastic showers!

Room airconditioning wasnt too cold enough

Great welcome at reception. Very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and bed was very comfy. Good selection of drinks available. Restaurant closed for refurb but plenty of food options nearby Evan is a fantastic host and I look forward to returning to Mercure very soon. Cheers Geraint

My son concerns-Wifi/internet issues.(slow) Otherwise affordable and friendly/helpful staff. Definitely coming back 👍

The restaurant is under renovation, disappointing to Not have access to food / drinks around the pool. But staff were friendly and hotel in a good area close to everything.

Staff were nice but the room cleaners were not great they kept forgetting stuff

Clean and contemporary however. Lovely family room with adjoining bedrooms and a kitchen. Great shower. We chose it as we wanted to turn up and eat there prior to an early flight next day snd restaurant was being renovated and we had to walk out of the hotel grounds to get to the pool. Advance warning would have been nice.

Overall it is a great hotel. Love the large sized family room. Wifi connection on TV’s didn’t work. Unable to access Netflix’s etc in room.

On arrival to our room, we found sliverfish on the bed and with someone nails stuck on one of the pillows. Pillows where very uncomfortable to sleep with. Bathroom had no towels or shower mat. Had to go and ask for towels.

Great stop over for a few days in cairns. Really good central location
