Since the doors to the bathroom are glass and don’t close the lights in the bathroom should have dimmers so going to the toilet at night does not disturb the others sleeping. The shower temperature was hard to control , getting slowly too hot or slowly too cold. The mattress was too firm For me. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room service and restaurant food was great and the staff accommodated gluten free very well. Overall great experience!

This place is amazing.

Excellent hotel with great service and ver friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay here . Breakfast was delicious. We eat at lunchtime and found the food excellent and staff so pleasant to deal with always smiling and pleasant . Carlos and ladies at reception were so helpful and friendly. Made our stay here one we will fondly remember. Definitely coming back on another trip to Santa Cruz.

We enjoyed our stay. We ate at the breakfast buffet twice and the evening dinner buffet once. The selections were great and the food was very good. The only drawback to me was the push from the hotel to upsell. First the room, then the spa and then a later checkout.

Great hotel! Best in Santa Cruz. Conveniently located and great service

Das Hotel ist ein grosses, ehrwürdiges Gebäude mit Balkonen auf den schönen Garten und Pool. Schwimmen im Spa kostet für 1.5 Std. zusätzlich 20 Euros. Das Frühstück ist empfehlenswert. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers ist nicht sehr modern. Die Holzläden kann man nicht ganz öffnen, deshalb ist es im Zimmer etwas dunkel. Die Beleuchtung ist knapp. Das Hotel ist nah bei einem Park etwas oberhalb von der Einkaufsstrasse und mit Bushaltestelle. Das Auto parkt man am besten in der Tiefgarage für 12 Euros pro Tag, Parkplätze findet man ausserhalb keine. Es gab keinen Willkommensdrink oder Früchte im Zimmer wie in andern 5* Hotels. Für 2-3 Nächte ok, aber ich bevorzuge ein 4*Iberostarhotel in Strandnähe.

Hotel Mencey is the best option in Sta Cruz. Great service and convenient overall facilities including gym, spa and padel courts. I'm a frequent client. Highly recommend.

La habitación empieza a estar desfasada. Poco en bufes no hay cargadores de USB, realmente tuve que desconectar nevera para poder conectar el portátil. Para un hotel de 5 estrellas no había ni cepillo de dientes, maquinilla de afeitar, tuve que pedirlo dos veces para que finalmente me llegará. Habitación poco luminosa.

The view from the room was of the ocean, everything was clean, and the pool was good.

Service and facilities were fantastic! Everyone was friendly, helpful and courteous! Room was lovely and spacious. Our room had a view of the garden and turtle pond. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of food and beverage options. We really enjoyed our stay.
