Took a Suite it was good for the price never ate in Hotel apart from breakfast which was poor.

Beautiful stained glass and wood panelling, but décor in rooms tired and mould in the bathroom. Staff helpful and friendly.

Sink in ensuite not cleaned properly - toilet had flush problem - towel rail never hot so towels were always damp , breakfast not good, left most of it - staff nice though

The room was old and tired.I have stayed in most of the Macdonald group hotels and this was by far the worst. Reception area was fine. The staff were very nice.
