Good hotel, could do with updating. But, for the price could not fault it.

Cleanliness an issue, places missed, my friend’s room was cold as no heat in radiator, offered a heater but still very cold, lift needs attention as often not working properly, very noisy neighbours Staff were lovely and very helpful

Rooms clean but old and noise outside room at night but ear plugs issued (not hotels fault). Good breakfast.

Room was ok, warm dry slept well

The room was spacious but it's very close to the toilet we can hear the extractor fan. The squeaky noise floor whenever someone is walking but overall was good, receptionist are nice and welcoming. Great location.

Kettle didn’t work. Couldn’t run a bath. Restaurant and bar closed.

We were getting an early train from Carlisle and wanted to stay close to the station the night before. This hotel is literally across the road. We had a double bed with extra single bed room for 3 of us at a total of £42. Overall the hotel is a bit dated, but beds were comfy and it was handy for plenty of restaurants and bars the night before. Breakfast started at 7am after we left, so I can't comment on it. But there was a Costa across the road which opens at 6am. Staff on check in and check out we're lovely and friendly. We had a great night's sleep and were ready for the journey the next day. Would absolutely stay here again Great value for what we paid.

It was difficult to find the hotel parking as we arrived at night, but OK once we got our bearings. The hotel room is huge, but looking a bit tired. I loved that I could have a bath, as this facility is missing in so many hotels now! Our room was on the street front so it was noisy from traffic, despite double glazing. The beds were very comfortable though and there was a good supply of tea, coffee etc but no teaspoons!

What a lovely place to stay ❤️ Only a 5 minute walk from the train station very friendly I stayed and took my dog the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly My room was beautiful a massive bed which my dog enjoyed 😂 The breakfast was very nice I can’t wait to go back and stay again Thank you for having us x
