Was a wonderful experience. Beautiful hotel, great customer service and location with beautiful views!

We were excited to stay at the Fairmont Empress to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to expectations. Despite mentioning the occasion during booking and check-in, it felt like no extra attention or care was given. Throughout our stay, the corridors often had carts filled with trash bags, dirty linens, and towels, which took away from the charm and elegance we were expecting. Additionally, the mattress in our room wasn’t very comfortable, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, the location is beautiful, but the experience and attention to detail left a lot to be desired for such a renowned hotel.

Price is not worth the 4 star hotel

Nothing at all not to like. The hotel was just as we hoped and expected it to be. Service is outstanding and any queries are dealt with quickly and professionally. The hotel location is amazing and allows easy access to the harbour area and downtown. The pool area is superb and rarely busy.

Absolutely amazing. We would definitely come back.

It’s a very nice hotel …off peak. When it’s crowded it’s not that great and very expensive. The staff is lovely and gardens are beautiful. The air conditioners in the fitness center and in our room were terrible. Our room was 78f. The equipment at the fitness center was also sub par-no spin bike-old school bike w lousy seat that slants forward and three of four treadmills were out of service. The temperature was dangerous even with the added little fan.

Wonderful view of the harbor from or upgraded suite. Service was exemplary and the food was very good.

I was treated very well by the staff and it is a beautiful hotel.

Great Place, Gold room Definitely worth it, as you get Breakfast, and Dessert everyday. Shopping and Restaurants in the area.

Fantastic stay on 6th floor. Quiet, clean, comfy bed. Did high tea, very happy with our stay!!!!!

Too expensive for what you get. No included parking, no included breakfast. Room had broken furniture, bathroom wasn’t clean to acceptable standard.
