I’m not happy with staff service and behaviour. The location was good to stay but car parking issue and there was not any help in finding travel information and guideline

Very pleasant experience. Hotel is fairly far from the town but it is a cheap (4 Soles) ride in by mototaxi.

This was the quietest place we stayed in for our entire trip. This place is classy but a little out of the way.

No good place for rest, 5.30 am Chain saw starts working at few feets from the hotel. Call recepcion , nothing happend, same chain saw. Fire place is a scam.. they dont fire it , if they fire it they put light wood just up for 20 minutes. The pictures at expedia are much much better than the real thing. its a tourist trap!!

Our room was nice, the grounds were beautiful, but it was further away from the city center than we thought. We were uncomfortable walking to other restaurants (streets aren't lit at night, at it was further than we'd prefer especially if we had any alcohol with dinner). Everyone in the restaurant was very kind. The front desk helped with contacting transportation for us. Although most online reviews stated that it was 20-30 soles to get to Ollantaytambo, we ended up paying more like 60-70. Lots of tour groups use this hotel, so be prepared for groups at dinner/breakfast and making noise early as they prepare to head out. Good water pressure in the bathrooms, and good housekeeping. We regularly saw staff members cleaning, but still managed to get sick (doctors said parasite infection that is common in the area). We ended up wishing that we'd either stayed closer to city center, or in Ollantaytambo closer to the station.

Hotel is nice enough and rooms are large with good shower and comfortable beds Front desk are not very friendly or helpful it other staff were nice and friendly. Noise outside the room is quite loud but would depend on other guests. Breakfast is fair. Dinner was good.

Urubamba is in relatively poor shape but the hotel is an oasis in the city. We enjoyed the common areas and the breakfast!

We had a good stay at the hotel. The people were very friendly and and the breakfast was excellent! My only problem with that the spa was open but it seemed like it hadn't been used for quite sometime. The cleaning of oour room needed improvement. They made the bed and changed the towels but no one swept the floor which was pretty dirty.

We stayed here for 3 nights while volunteering in Urubamba. It's a nice, easy location right off the main road. We really struggled to communicate with the front desk staff at times and wish the bar was a bit nicer and wish they had the fireplace going as it was chilly out. Place felt a bit cold and empty. The breakfast was quite decent.

It was by far the worst hotel I stayed in while in Peru.It was in the middle of no where, the train station was practically an hour away and staff was rude.

As a first time visitor to the Sacred Valley we thought a hotel in Urubamba would be a good launching point to visit Olly, Pisac, the salt mines and Moray. While the town of Urubamba feels desolate, it is in fact a very central location. And the hotel is comfortable ... but the hotel staff was excellent, especially the front desk and the porters. If I returned to Urubamba, I would stay here again.

We chose Urumbamba over Cusco and Ollytaytambo mostly for the location so that we could cover the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. Location was good. Right across the street is bus pickup for those willing to do bus or combi. It was convenient for our day trip to Pisac and next day train to Machu Picchu and then short 30 min to Olly. The train originates at Urumbamba and it worked out well for centralizing the location. The hotel is deceptive looking from the road but once you enter it has a lot of character. Every single staff person was very helpful and pleasant. I would say this was very noticeable. It was great attitude like they really wanted your business and a very influential factor in rating this hotel. Breakfast was ok, rather plain but ok. Great value and it left a good enough impression that I noticed this 'san agustin' hotel brand when I will need hotel again whether Urumbamba or not.

Quite far to walk from train station, and a bit over priced. Bed ok, room is fine, but no refrigerator nor private pool as advertised. It is a pool in the hotel you can use but it was lot of bugs flying around. Service is ok.
