Parking could be a problem. Rooms are a little small. Also, carrying luggage up steps into lobby since it’s located on hill. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Good location, they have had some refurbishment but to a poor standard. Paint all over bathroom floor, toilet seat too small for the toilet and not fixed properly, shower didn’t drain away and flooded, window wouldn’t close, door to roof outside room was open, no handles or locks just pushed open. Choice of decor questionable. Breakfast was ok some food had obviously been lying awhile and was very dried out, but plenty of choice.

Didn’t like the fact that there was no ramp to carry your luggage up to the entranceway. Not a big deal though. Hotel is old, but well kept.

Not our best hotel stay. Clean with nice staff and well appointed bathroom but room really small - could only move around it if 1 person sat on the bed. Kettle lead too short to reach socket safely so unable to use it. TV not working - nice receptionist replaced it but by then it was all a bit too late. One door from lift area near bedroom had a step which was dangerous when carrying a bag. Lots of little stresses which didn't make for a relaxing stay.

Staff and service was impeccable. A 5 star experience. Room a bit small but mafe up for by service

Hotel looks nice and well maintained but we found it was surface dressing; window didn't shut, water didn't get hot but on the plus side the TV was huge and there was plenty tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was a bit basic, not much fruit and a basic cooked breakfast buffet. Choice of some milk alternatives but nothing labelled on the hot buffet and no gluten free bread available. It's been a long time since I last experienced that!

Lovely hotel. Really nice and clean. Food was amazing. Top quality for really good price. Staff were lovely. Brautiful town

The room I had was hot with no ventilation or air conditioning , the window didn't open. The heated towel rail in the bathroom remained heated all night. The shower was complicated and I couldn't get the water to run hot.

The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us in every way. The ladies Ramona and Glory at the check in desk were so kind and helpful. Giving 110% for customer service. I worked tourism in Denali park for 12 years. I appreciate good service.

Well located in the heart of Oban. I have nothing to say, I enjoy my staying

Stayed for 2 nights at this recently renovated hotel. The room was small and basic but clean. TV reception was not great. Parking in the hotel forecourt is extremely limited, but I managed to find parking on the road outside, which was free overnight, but only maximum of 2 hours paid parking during the day (fortunately, this was not an issue for me as I was away during the day, but I imagine it could be for other people). There was only one small lift for customers, which would be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. Staff were kind and courteous. Location was great. However, I don’t think I would stay there in the future, as in my opinion there are better hotels in the area.

From the moment we entered hotel we loved the decor. Reception was lovely and welcoming Room was very modern and the large bed was so comfortable, room was bright and plenty space,great shower and tea coffee snack highly recommended

Overall not a bad place. Definitely needs some work. Room was dirty and falling apart “even tho it was supposed to be refurbished” but the staff was quite pleasant and very helpful. Beds were very comfortable and if I needed anything they were on it right away. I’d definitely stay here again. I was honest with them when I brought the issues up with them and they didn’t get defensive.. they listened and apologized. With paying attention to a few things this could be a 5 star hotel. It’s a 3 star but the staff was so awesome I’ll give a 4 star. I already miss Oban and the staff at the Muthu regional hotel! Thank you very much for having me!!

The room was tricky to get into due to position of bed, but once in it was comfortable and had everything you need. Housekeeping staff provided with with an iron very promptly and all staff were very nice. Decor is to a nice standard and having a sea view was bliss. Breakfast was rather yummy and very good value for money. Iussed seeing some fruit and it would have been nice to have the coffee in a cafeteria

Comfortable stay in small single room with super view of the harbour and islands . Service excellent. Good value for the area . Outside of hotel is not appealing but inside has been refurbished.
