Location is great in Old Montreal. We were able to walk or metro everywhere. Rooms are a nice size. We were staying for 5 nights.
Breakfast was advertised as made to order but this was omlettes only. Everything else was a breakfast buffet, typical of hotel chains. Still a nice included breakfast.
Happy hour was lovely. The room was full of people to talk to, bartenders were lovely and there were light snacks which was a nice touch.
Our room was never "cleaned" the whole time we were there. The bed was made and towel refreshed, but the floor was never swept, the toilet cleaned etc. The towel bar kept falling off the wall whenever it was touched. We would leave it on the floor and it would be hung back up without being fixed to fall again.
Customer service was lacking but not due to any one person in particular. I think they are just understaffed. We called for additional towels as there were only three in the room, even though four of us were registered to stay and we were told they would "try to get around to it." They never did and despite asking several times we were never provided more than three towels (My poor husband dried off with hand towels).
On night we were tired and decided to just order room service. Not seeing a number for room service, I called the front desk and asked to be connected. She said she would connect me but they probably won't answer because they were busy. When the call returned to the front desk I was told to try after 7pm
