Hotel was really cool and all amenities are really close

We had a bad experience with the front staff - lied about room and then was just not helpful

Gladstone House is not only a beautiful hotel on Queen West, but an outpost for contemporary art, and occasional live music. The rooms are all unique, decorated by artists and coffee service for mornings are DIY on each floor. The onsite cafe is great for breakfast.

Staff was rude. Moody kids. Pointed to the restaurant instead of speaking. Unable to make simple conversation. Accessibility is an issue. Offsite parking annoying and confusing. Other than that, great cool retro artsy spot!

The room was absolutely lovely, staff were very helpful and the amenities convenient and easy to use.

This was an excellent space, clean and comfy.

Clean room and very comfortable bed. However the handle to the shower was broken which made it somewhat complicated to get the water to turn on. The handle was basically disconnecte.

The room was spotless and nicely appointed. All staff were polite and helpful. I truly enjoyed the coffee station in the morning. Brunch in the cafe was excellent. Nothing the hotel can do to alleviate this. My room faced Queen Street. It was a little noisy.

Super clean, amazing amenities. We woke up, had an espresso, and played pool before check out. The 1800s elevator was so cool. We’ll be back.

Great stay!

The room was clean. Very simple. I am big on having a good shower while away. The shower was not ideal. Either extremely hot or way too cold. Other than that the staff was very nice and the place was very accessible to where I was working.

The room was amazing. Staff 10 out of 5 Perfect experience and highly recommend staying here. Small convenience store less than two minutes away. Why wait.

Upon arriving there was no parking and no direction where to go. We had to park at a grocery store. The staff told us to park down the street in a parking garage where we had to haul all of our luggage from the garage back to the hotel without assistance or without a luggage cart. We only booked this hotel because it had parking but there was no mention of it being off site. We were told the next day that it was actually paid parking too. The room itself was super noisy. We could hear traffic, sirens, street cars etc and the loud people in the hallway. We could hear every door slam and every early morning argument. The room was small with limited space for your belongings especially coats. Only a small pipe hanging from the ceiling to hang coats. There was a sink in the bedroom and not in the bathroom. Very inconvenient when one person stays up late etc. The paint is peeling off the bathroom door and wall. The building itself doesnt have wheelchair access or a wheelchair button to open exterior doors making it hard to get in and out of the building with luggage. They allow smoking directly in front of the doors which is super gross. Its 2026! For the price we paid we expected more.
