A easy stay and Roberta (member of staff) made it all very easy

Nice venue - dated rooms and facilities . Breakfast great - evening meal small portions . Could do with modernisation

Needed a hotel where I could leave a trailer. Extremely helpful when I phoned and equally helpful in sorting out afternoon tea even though their kitchen was shut. One of the best meals I have had at the restaurant especially when considering the price. Good breakfast choice. Grounds beautiful and resident peacock and peahen. Tranquil. Bed comfortable just needed to be a little careful of low ish beam in room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The grounds were lovely and the hanging baskets amazing. Our rooms where spacious and very clean. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Liked that there were a few choices offered for breakfast. I would definitely book to stay here again.

Good location. Food was variable. One dinner was great but the next day they had an event and the food was distinctly average (steak over cooked, pork tough...)

Amazing location. Tranquil, tucked away but a short hop to chard. Beautiful lake and large wooden gazebo for a chilled drink after dinner.

The Owner was fantastic, very welcoming and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Room Good, comfortable bed, excellent facilities apart from TV which was to small for the size of the room, plenty of Tea And Coffee, additional milk was willingly provided. Bathroom was good apart from split Lino. The Hotel was conveniently located on our journey to the West Country in and old Mill with bags of Character, clearly more of a wedding venue. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We thought the room rate with Breakfast was high but appreciated the losses incurred over the last year, unlikely to return at this price.

Restaurant food was amazing, rooms need a bit of an upgrade, creaky floors etc but all part of being an old building. Beautiful working mill which can be seen from the restaurant

Great location for a base to explore the area. Staff were great and couldn’t do enough for you. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very nice. Breakfast was great overall a great place to stay

A nice stay with quirky rooms & a nice character. A little dated & tired in places, but on the whole great value for money
