The staff at the reception is very slow and too relaxed ... I left my room early mornings and returned late in the evenings , which made me a very convenient guest who spent minimum units of electricity and water in the hotel . Despite that I found out on my 5th day of stay that my linen hadn’t been changed since I checked in !!!

A service at the reception was fine but a bit slow though. The cleanliness in the room is good.

The amenities and in particular the size of the room were quite impressive. The only critic would be to the hotel bar service, which was really slow and sloppy. Besides from it, I enjoyed a lot my stay.

Everyone was very helpful and nice. The hotel had everything and came with breakfast and dinner! The staff was helpful and spoke well in English. Hotel has everything and more that we needed. It was a very pleasant stay.

They were not aware of my check in so there was an obvious disconnect between Expedia and the hotel. I was charged by Expedia but not given a confirmation #. Expedia needs to improve upon this as I have booked a few times as different hotels and all I need is a confirmation number from Expedia to make it easier for all parties.

We’ve been staying in King Hotel many times over past 4-5 years. Each year is down grade. They don’t update the rooms, lobby or furniture. Breakfast meat and other foods are heated and overheated many times. Bread was so dry you don’t need to toast it. No more.

Everything is good. It might look a bit outdated, but overall impression is excellent. Breakfast and dinner are included, rooms are big, staff is helpful. Will stay again there when come back

It is a nice hotel but needs to some touches around especially in bathroom. Seems getting old. Room sizes are good. Beds can be better. Poor pillows. Great breakfast and restaurant. Our last 2 days hotel did not have a hot water, I am not sure if hot water available now or not. Maintenance was scheduled for much shorter period of time but seems things did not go well and hotel was not ready for any backup solution. Hotel wasn't bothering about this outage. I had to warm water with kettle to have a shower. Such big hotel and many customers with no hot water in very cold weather conditions. Almost no shopping center around the hotel. Only a convenient stores around. Location and staff is very nice.

Great staff

Hotel had a great breakfast, there's variety and changes of hot food daily. However, housekeeping service could be improved, some days the attendant failed to top up amenities. Wifi signal was also not strong in the room I was in as the router was in the corridor and the layout in the room had several walls, reducing the strength of the wifi in some areas of the room like the study desk.

Loved the location.... just stepping out was a pleasure. The room was actually quite spacious. 2 balconies, 2 rooms more or less. The mattress however, was a hard as a box spring. Although I love firm mattresses, it was almost too hard. Did not like the food at all. But it was typical Kazakh. The worst part of it all was the coffee.. As thin as air. But overall, I would go again because I felt safe. Staff was friendly and location was great. Hotel was quiet and clean.

Good location, friendly staff, spacious rooms and great city views for an incredible price. Although mostly Russian-speaking, the staff went out of their way, in very serviceable English, to explain how to get around the city. For our very early 2:30 am departure on the final day, they had boxed lunches prepared for us in lieu of our usual full spread breakfast. Thanks for taking such great care of us on our first trip to Astana!

It is the hotel with reasonable price and service, with location in astana old town. This hotel provides half-board meal plan, it saves efforts for deciding menu of evening meal.

We stayed 11 days here. Great breakfast - the spread was very large. Dinner was limited - but we went out mostly. Great bar area that stays open till 2 am or more and there is 24 hour room service. Service was excellent - with fantastic response times.

Not so good, as my wife's mobile phone was lost and couldn't be found. Moreover, the neighbour room was very noisy, some drunk people were there.

The mattress was like stone :) but I got used to it after 2 days. And there was not night table light. So I asked for one and they brought it. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of town and I enjoyed jogging through the neighborhood. The room overall was quite big and had 2 little balconies. I did not like the food. It was very greasy and all was fried. No healthy food choices. The coffee was like brown water. And there were not options. Only select staff speaks English.

The hotel was further out from the city centre then expectied obituary this was compensated by the kettle, fridge, iron and dinner was included in the day rate. Overall very pleased with the service.

I stayed here for a few nights while on a business trip to Astana. The hotel was pretty clean, the reception staff were always very helpful with directions, calling a taxi, etc. The room was spacious too. The price included free breakfast AND free dinner so it was a really good deal.

Hotel was good, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Good value for money
