Very friendly staff! Clean, comfortable room. Great location.

Ingen vanlig mjölk och take away muggar vid kaffeautomaterna. Nonchalant kille i incheckningen. I övrigt är allt perfekt: läget, sängen, badrummet, nordiska TV-kanaler och frukosten.

Neat historic hotel, upgraded to current standards.

The easily accessible great tasting coffee. The bar. The excellent buffet breakfast. The location being walkable to all places of interest. Decent Gym

Excellent standard hotel in a central area

The staff were the most helpful smiley pleasant staff I have ever encountered. They gave 100% to everyone all the time I also liked the idea of free coffee at anytime A really lovely place with magnificent views of the city if you are on a higher floor The only things I didnt like was having the bar only outside when the weather was fine. Not enough space to sit outside and too many steps for the less abled I certainley didnt like the idea of paying to access the pool, I thought that was cheeky

The location of this hotel couldn't be better. The airport bus stop is just a few minutes walk away, the trams (to everywhere) are right outside and the main sights are within walking distance. Our room was clean, the shower good and the bed comfortable, All public areas were well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, as always in a Clarion hotel. Staff on the front desk and in the restaurant were excellent. Just a few glitches though, that made our stay four rather than five stars. House-keeoing was erratic - every day, something was forgotten (tea/coffee replenishment, new bathmat, clean cups, fresh towels), Front desk put everything right quickly when we reported it but it was bit of a faff. And, occasionally, there was a whiff in the bathroom - not of our doing, we are certain because it was when we had come in from a day trip and had not used the bathroom for several hours - which we surmised to be from the whole system backing up. It's an old building, but they really need to do a thorough sweep of the plumbing system. Nevertheless, on balance, a good stay- but not outstanding as we have experienced in other Clarion hotels.

A little bit tired considering it’s one of the top hotels. Breakfast was great and the staff brilliant. It’s in an excellent location if you want shopping and public transport nearby. Can get a little bit noisy at night time.

The hotel is in an amazing location across the road from the central station. We were offered a room upgrade which worked out around an extra £7. The room was spacious & lovely large bathroom. Staff were all friendly and helpful

Beautiful hotel. Centrally located. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Bedroom was very dusty and light was too dim. Could hear very loud music from the bar late into the night, when we were trying to sleep.

Very comfortable and close to all restaurants and activities in Gothenburg.

The hotel is brilliant staffs are very friendly and kind always willing to help and they cater for your every needs I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Gothenburg Sweden..

We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were super clean, and the beds were really comfy. Breakfast was amazing with lots of tasty options, including plenty gluten-free options (there was a dedicated gluten free area) The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. There were plenty of spots to sit and chill around the hotel. The beauty shop was awesome, with a great selection of products and fantastic treatments (highly recommend the massage!). Definitely recommend!"

The hotel was a bit small, cold, and dark. We couldn’t understand how to turn off some of the lights (hidden switches). The breakfast buffet in the restaurant was okay, but the room was dark (no windows) and it had a ‘dated’ feeling to it. The hotel is in a convenient location.
