Don't stay here - this isn't a hotel. It's a restaurant on the bottom floor and a club on the top floor, with some rooms on the middle floor. Reception says that the rooms are 70% sound proofed and provides ear plug for sleeping but the bass/music plays all day and night until 2 AM. It's impossible to sleep (even with provided earplugs) because the music is very loud and vibrates within the room. When I voiced my concern about how loud the restaurant's music was upon checkin, reception told me the music would stop at 10 PM. Perhaps the ground floor's restaurant music stopped at 10 PM but the upstairs club music started and did not stop until 2 AM. Worst hotel stay I have ever had.

Staff amazing, Caroline, David, Aygina, all fantastic. Place is perfect, the rooftop bar goes off so if you want a quiet place, look elsewhere.

Good location, nice staff and the view from the rooftop. However the noise was just too much, people screaming into the early hours of the morning. Even earplugs didn’t help. Wouldn’t recommend staying there unless you are planning to party all night or can sleep through the earthquake.

Really funky hotel in great location in Panama’s old town. Surrounded by colonial buildings, shops and views. Cathedral and canal history museum. Tantalo is famous for its rooftop bar which serves great cocktails, has an amazing view and loud music to 3am which does reach the rooms to some extent.

Right where you want to. In the middle of tons of shops, restaurants and town square. Rooftop bar a must for cocktails and view. Room was so spacious and comfortable. 10 out of 10.

Food was good and affordable. They have daily lunch specials. Bed was comfortable.

During a morning rain, my room was leaking water in large amounts. Enough to wake me up at 5:30 , pack and depart.

The hotel is in the heart of Casco Viejo. You have a great rooftop restaurant and bar. The service is friendly and professional.

This place is a very cute boutique hotel with extremely friendly staff. The rooms are decorated by various artists which I love. The location is a perfect for the old part of town and walkable to so many cool places. My friends and wife chose this place to celebrate my birthday and my first baby’s gender reveal which was my birthday gift! The food of their Resturant was also very good. If you like local feel and authenticy please check this place out!!

My stay wasn’t four stars due to the lack of sleep, but I do not want to penalize the hotel for what was not hidden from me in the reviews. The hotel has a rooftop bar that was active until 2:30a Tuesday and Wednesday nights. They state that the room is 70% soundproof, though I suspect it to be less. I am a heavy sleeper and gambled that it would be quiet in the beginning of the week and because I have the ability to fall asleep with noise. Perhaps I may have been able to, but I suspect there is mold somewhere in the room. It wasn’t present to a point that I could smell it, but I am allergic tot mold and was unable to breathe through my nose when exposed to it. The staff were polite. The restaurant and property look nice. Has a nice rooftop bar. And, being in Casca Vieja, the location is great for the price. I recommend this to anyone in their 20s who would be enjoying the night life of Tantalo or other bars/clubs at later hours.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in this hotel. There was a lot of noise but it didn’t bother us as much. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfy. The only complaint we have is that the food options and flavor are lacking in the menu

Tantalo was a very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and the food is really good. My room was clean and modern art decor. There is a rooftop bar with amazing drinks! Very great location 2 minute walk to Frances Suqare.

Unique property in Casco Viejo with wonderful staff. My room and balcony were gorgeous and so clean. The price was very reasonable and check in/out were a breeze. Definitely recommend!

Perfect IF you like to party till the early hours or if you are a heavy sleeper. Music is PUMPING till 2am weekdays and till 4am from Thursday for weekends. If I was 15 years younger this would be a great higher end alternative to staying in stay in.

Very caring front desk staff=Nashda, Jose, and Caroline. Octopus is excellent in dining room. Very comfortable bed. Never met management team for a welcome drink. They, somehow, wish to have loud music until 2-4a.m. in top floor viewing area. They even pass out earplugs for this ill-advised decision.
