Tantalo Hotel

O quarto é confortável e espaçoso. Café da manhã muito bom. Tem ótima localização no Casco Antigo. O bar no rooftop é agradável, divertido e oferece uma vista bonita.

Very caring front desk staff=Nashda, Jose, and Caroline. Octopus is excellent in dining room. Very comfortable bed. Never met management team for a welcome drink. They, somehow, wish to have loud music until 2-4a.m. in top floor viewing area. They even pass out earplugs for this ill-advised decision.

Convenience and safety. Will get a better idea tomorrow with tour of area.

Loved this hotel, spacious and large room, staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant and very accomodating. Super fun bar on rooftop with great views of city and restaurant in lobby. In the middle of old town with bars and restaurants, stores and cafes. It's not a quiet hotel so up to you if this is for you or not.

The hotel's rooftop bar is open until 4:00 a.m., loud music, screaming crowd, and the management's reluctance to stop this nightmare, makes the stay at this hotel a torment.

Everyone is extremely friendly

Exelent customer service from the front desk Nashda ( She makes everything looks soo easy and smooth ). To the restaurant girls Maria, Carina and Diana ( this girls are Amazing ) make you feel welcome. I recommend this hotel.💯%

Enjoyed the unique decor and design of the property. Spacious room and comfortable bed created a welcoming space for resting. The rooftop bar was a plus with the friendly staff made my stay quite enjoyable. Casco Viejo area has a high police presence making you feel very safe.

Staff was friendly, room was clean. Decor is fun.

We were escorted to our room after we checked in to confirm there were no issues with our room. The Day Dreaming room was wonderful which had a balcony overlooking the street. It was a bit noisy with the bar below and the rooftop bar but that did not bother us. They do provide earplugs in the room but we did not need them. The service, food and drinks were excellent. There were many shops, restaurants and bars just steps away from the hotel. It is also near the cruise port for Norwegian. This was an excellent pick for our overnight stay before our cruise.

It is a bit loud at night with music from the rooftop patio. We were warned and provided earplugs.

This was our second time here and 5 years ago was the first time. We were a little disappointed this time. The hotel felt a but run down compared to what I was remembering and expecting. Staff were great, and location and rooftop are amazing but the rooms and common areas felt like they needed small repairs or updates and that it had been neglected.

Love this hotel! Located in the heart of Costa Viejo with restaurants and shops all around. The hotel offers fine dining on the first floor and also a rooftop bar with magnificent views of Panama City. Best of all is the spacious, decorative room with authentic artwork.Stunning, to say the least! There's even a balcony to sit and soak in the city. Highly recommend staying here.

Loved the location. Close to absolutely everything.. including subway, Rey’s grocery, restaurants, shopping, transportation & coffee shops. Oh & Ice cream Parlours. Staff were top notch. Very safe & secure hotel. Our room was extremely large, Lots of storage & counter space. It is very loud at night because of all the nightlife, But the hotel provides ear plugs if needed. The noise did not bother us. It goes on till 2 am & 4 am on weekends. It is a fantastic energy place. No pool. The restaurant is so delicious, best chicken my husband & I ever had in our life. All other meals were an amazing experience. It has an amazing roof top bar. The view is fantastic. The drinks are delicious. Didn’t get a chance to eat up there, but the menu looks delicious. Just be aware that your room key is your air condition & lights. So when you leave you pop your card out of the slot & air conditioner & lights shut off. But it only takes about 15 minutes to cool the place down when you return. I would recommend this hotel.

Cute boutique hotel with a nice terrace! Nashda the woman at reception was amazing. She couldn’t do enough to help me. From arranging taxis to tours, and any issues I had come up. She made my stay amazing. The hotel is in a great location!

The area was extremely noisy with local traffic blowing horns and loud street noise all night. Shower water was cold after a 2 min shower. Dirty bathroom and concrete floors in room. Food was very good and staff at bar was nice to get water and ice but you need to go get it. Our mini bar had half full items.
