The hotel was conveniently located. The size of the room was sufficient, but bare. The bathroom was a bit small and could have used more places to put things. Breakfast had good variety, but most of the food was packaged; not freshly made. Check in and check out were highly automated and it seemed that there was mainly someone staffing the front desk during breakfast. This felt cold to me, but others might find it helpful.

Clean, comfy room with comfy mattress and air conditioning in the room. The hotel rather well located in Putney. In terms of the disadvantages- the breakfast was really poor, with extremely limited options. The receptionist had to take care both of breakfast and the receptionist (between two rooms) - we felt sorry for him rushing around. Apart from that, the room facing the street was really loud since early morning.

I checked in late so no staff on site. The screen to check in is a massive bright and highly visible large screen and requires full personal details. No privacy. Anyone can see. Very poor for confidentiality and data protection. Not sure how they can get away with it to be honest. Unless you want to risk your personal details, address, date of birth etc seen by anyone id advise not getting there after staff leave. Bad bad bad. Room perfectly adequate though.

Staff was friendly. Room was cleaned. Did not have breakfast at the hotel so I cannot rate the morning breakfast but it did always smell wonderful.

The good: Self check-in on a kiosk was nifty. Room was clean, but beds were a little too firm for my liking. Shower water was hot and had good pressure, but no towel hooks anywhere?? No in-room mini fridge or microwave (but that may be standard in Europe). Decent breakfast buffet. The not so good: There was a sign in the lobby that said the front desk is staffed during normal daytime hours (10a-7p ish) but no one was there at *any* time we were coming or going. After checking in, I had to call for someone to come down to the front desk to advise where to park. The man who answered the phone made me feel like I was the biggest inconvenience of his entire day. There are 3 incredibly tight parking spaces down a sloped driveway and there is no room to turn around. There was a garage (?) at the bottom of the slope with room for 4 cars. That’s it. DO NOT park on the street close to the property or you will be slapped with a huge fine.

Very clean room with effective but quiet air conditioning, a good buffet breakfast and a very helpful gentleman on the reception desk when we arrived. Great location too. We will definitely stay here again.

Check in process awful. No WhatsApp invite as advised. The check in email arrived after I'd checked out. Tried to check in through the website which didn't recognise the booking. Used the outside terminal which is very exposed and so high up - good luck if you're in a wheelchair or just short! The desk wasn't manned and it was before 10pm - really unsafe.

The hotel is very No Frills, but it was clean, room was large, bed was comfy, had everything we needed. It is almost impossible finding a reasonably priced hotel in London. It's not super central but very close and the area is very nice in it's on right. Felt safe and has plenty of food options nearby. Self check in is efficient but a bit odd if you're used to talking to a person. Breakfast is ok. Nothing amazing, but it was included in the price.

The lobby smells funky so thats the first thing that hits ya but the room itself is great. The breakfast is decent and there's tons of shopping within walking distance.

Recently refurbished hotel with modern and very clean facilities. Excellent location near the river and the High Street. The only issue was that there was no reception staff in the evening, and I didn't notice the self-check-in machine at first. Luckily, another guest kindly showed me where it was. Apart from that, everything was great. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at MK Hotel London Putney and came away genuinely impressed. In a city where value, comfort, and location rarely align, this hotel strikes a commendable balance. The room was clean, functional, and thoughtfully presented—everything you need, nothing you don’t. It delivers exactly what it promises, and does so well. What truly elevated the stay, however, was the staff. Friendly, polite, and thoroughly professional, they created a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. It’s often the people that define a place, and here they certainly do. Yes, there is some traffic noise—but let’s be realistic: this is London, a living, breathing capital city. The gentle hum of movement outside is simply part of the backdrop, and hardly a reflection on the hotel itself. All things considered, this is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a well-run, good-value stay in London without unnecessary frills. I would happily return.

The check in process is incredibly dangerous for any woman travelling alone and for anyone not wanting their personal data stolen - ho this hotel firm thinks this is a sensible solution to automated checkin blows my mind. I felt sooo unsafe.
