I messaged them early on the day of checkin to advise i would be late. Upon arriving they could not find my reservation and kept me waiting with no resolution at 2.30am just wanting to go to sleep I had to contact 24 hour guest support for them to find the reservation and eventually check me into my room but blame was placed on me by customer support saying that they couldn't guarantee a message was received as i booked through hotels.com and not them. I stopped in a motorway service to ensure I wasn't driving tired and then got blamed for their rubbish systems. Pretty disgusted

Professional and friendly staff. We stayed one night arriving quite late after a long drive - good nights sleep and great shower. Great value and great food options either in the hotel or on site as venue located at a motorway service station. Free parking which is a great bonus.

Clean room, great staff, right in the services so plenty of options to shop and eat…. That said the room I had was above the entrance and smokers outside left a horrid smell in the room as they smoked directly beneath my windows Staff attentive and knowledgeable plus a good breakfast with a good selection. A real surprise as I am normally very impressed by service area hotels but this was good and good value

Lovely staff that make this excierience so much better. In regards to the hotel, room quite disappointing, need proper clean, inches of dust in every corner of the floors, carpets stained, mouldy shower, tiles in the bathroom did not been cleaned for a while, cups stained, needs real attention to detail.

Visited for 1night with our children. We arranged and got written confirmation from the hotel that the cot bed would be available on arrival but it was not and we had to wait 2 hours after arrival to finally receive it. Room was alright but not cleaned as it should be. Our 4 years old found a dead fly on the carpet within minutes of being in the room. The carpet itself had many stains and was dusty so we didn't feel comfortable letting our baby girl crawling in the room. Before going to bed we found our son's single bed bedsheets full of hair and dirty. It was very gross and we had to call in reception. The gentleman apologised and changed the sheet. Last but not least, the fire alarm went on at around 3am in the morning. Not sure what happened but the kids woke up crying in fear. In the end staff confirmed it was a false alarm and there was nothing to be worried about. That was good news but we struggled putting our kids back to sleep. It could have been a great value for money hotel if things went a bit better for us but unfortunately it was not. Therefore we don't recommend this hotel especially if you travel with kids mainly due to the hygiene issues we faced.

Excellent value—same rate as a Travelodge but significantly better quality. It’s clean, secure, and very comfortable. The staff are friendly and free parking, and the location is ideal with 24-hour McDonald's and M&S store nearby.

The staff were very friendly throughout our stay. It was easy to park and sort out the free parking at reception. The breakfast was good and filling. The room was clean and very comfortable bed and pillow we both slept like babies every night. We originally were only staying for 1 night but ended up staying for 3 as we really enjoyed the hotel.

It was the worst hotel experience for me. Freezing room, not helpful staff. Bring your own thermometer because when you say it is cold, the staff doesn’t believe you and come to your room to check it and he thinks it is warm by using his perfect body temperature measurement sensors

Staff were friendly and accommodating. However, the hotel is very run down. Stayed here a couple of times (on stops) and the wifi never seems to work or be adequate. The first time the tv never worked, and the second time the remote needed changing. The TVs are super old. There are no phones in the room and so whenever you require anything, you have to walk all the way to reception. The biggest issue I have had on all my stays is the thermostats do not work and so even though I set the temperature to 28 degrees, the rooms never became warm (not helped by the single glazed windows). I have tried to call ahead for early check in and no one ever answers the phones / responds to emails. Overall a hotel in need of a renovation.
