Carol made me waste a lot of time and money in roaming charges by calling Expedia to request my second-day cancellation after I got stranded in London due to the airport fire and had found a flight home earlier when the whole time the hotel was going to decline it for us. Expedia called her for approval, and I couldn’t believe what they were saying after she had clearly told since I booked through a 3rd party, I walked to the lobby. It was her option the whole time, and then she was incredibly rude to us after the incredibly messed up situation I was in with 5 children and 4 adults. She could have just said no from the beginning but chose to create more problems for us, instead of being honest.
