We had a great stay. The hotel was so close to everything and conveniently located to the train station. It was one of the hottest days of the summer and the staff brought extra fans and water for us to the room.

Central location

Perfect location for a quick trip to the city- everything nearby and easy to find.

Location is great! But nothing is in the room. No hot water pot, no tea and coffee bags in the room.

Nice quiet stay in Cologne with a good location and convenient. Very walkable with shops and close to train station and of course the beautiful cathedral! Good value for the price.

Good place just where you must be when in Köln

Overall, we were disappointed with our stay. Our room was fairly large with a king bed and good-sized shower. The hotel is modern and aesthetically pleasing. The location is very convenient as it's close to the Cologne Hbf central train station (10-minute walk with luggage), the main attractions of the Cologne Cathedral, Rhein River (8-minute walk), and Alter Markt square, as well as shopping and restaurants. The Cons: the most disappointing portions of our stay was with the air conditioner in our room, noise, and staff. As temperatures averaged in the high 70's (26 Celsius), we found that our room was very uncomfortable from the heat. To our dismay, we could not adjust the thermostat to cool the room. I reported the issue to the nighttime staff however, she just blew me off stating that the temperature was set to 19 Celsius and could not be adjusted. She did not offer to investigate the matter or offer and different room. Our only saving grace was that we could open the windows. The area was very noisy during the evenings into the early morning hours from the "revellers" who were drinking at the various pubs and restaurants as well as from motor vehicles. In all, this made for some rough nights of sleep. Our experience with the staff was not that great. Some of the daytime staff were relatively friendly however, the nighttime staff person was not friendly at all and wore it on her face. Should we pay a return visit to Cologne, we will not consider this hotel.

Everything perfect!

Not our first time in this hotel and won't be our last! Room 502 was lovely and spacious. Extremely warm at night and could mot adjust the aircon but this didn't take away from our lovely stay. Can't recommend enough as a central base to explore Köln.

The location is superb, right in the middle of the Old Market in Cologne, and steps away from the Cologne Cathedral. The staff is very friendly, and the facility is wonderful

We really had a lovely time in Koln. The hotel is very clean and the room and bathroom big. It's very cosy and we will definitely come back !!!

Excellent location. Well run hotel. Rooms are small but clean & efficient. Busy outside late into night, so noisy if window is open.
