Nice artwork in the room

Very cute, historic hotel. Friendly staff to a one. The only things that were a little tough were the size of the room for just me was pretty small, but had everything nonetheless and the wifi was terrible and cut out a lot! Otherwise, my two nights there were quite nice - I enjoyed some of the interesting guests in the lobby! I will come back for a King room next time: I saw one and it was a lot larger. Also, I think I would ask to be on ground level; maybe the wifi would be better.

All the staff was friendly and helpful. They held my bags when I came in the morning until check in. Also, held my bags after I checked out until my train in the evening. Will stay there again

It was perfect for what I needed. The front desk worker was helpful, informative, and efficient.

It was not the cleanest but the staff made up for it. Kind and accommodating. Not a big bar scene around but nice for a lunch time walk.

The hotel needs a deep cleaning

cute little hotel. the rooms are pretty small, but we didn’t spend any time in there except for sleeping so that doesn’t really matter. the floors are not the cleanest. i would bring some house shoes to not dirty your socks/feet. 10 minute walk to the united center makes this hotel!

This place is not as advertised. The room was super tiny!!!! I mean literally no room to move. The room had a full size bed, 2 end tables, a fridge and microwave. No desk or table, no other place to sit, nothing. I've never been in a room that was the size of a big bathroom, smh. That is not what was pictured on the website. It said parking available, but it wasn't available the 1st night. We had to pay $35 for the ramp next door. We were put in the room directly above the front door and you could hear every time anyone came in and out as it was a big bang when the door slammed shut. You could hear EVERY conversation happening in the front of the building. As well as the cars and any outside noise. The walls were paper thin! We were highly disappointed and will never stay here again! For a downtown hotel, it didn't have downtown vibes or feel. The only thing that we did like was the staff. They were nice. Besides that no thanks.

The tv channel options not the greatest. Staff was very friendly & made checking in & out a breeze! Thank you for making our 1st trip to Chicago an amazing experience!

All was great except for a few people on our floor were obnoxious and came on the hotel that way; staff did come up to settle them down and all was good

Very convenient location 35 minutes walk from Union station 7 minutes walk to United Center very safe andceasy walk

An older Hotel that is completely done over. Clean and neat. A clean comfy bed, a nice size work/ snacking counter and hard floors ( got to love it!) no filthy carpet. An amazing value. Exceptional service, they are accommodating. 3 blocks to Rush- 5 blocks to United Center.

Staff was amazing and accommodating. Breakfast/Communal area was tidy and clean. Room was efficient and clean. Parking saved us $ because we attended an event at the United center where parking was $60. The United center is a 10 minute walk and the restaurant across the street had a shuttle. Overall just a great place to stay.

There was a sewage smell on the first floor.. It did not go away the 3 days that I was there. I had a room on the first floor .. It was loud because of main door is constantly being slammed from people arriving. The parking area was not convenient at all. Was not enough room for people arriving and unloading. It was a first come first serve for the parking spots. Otherwise you would have to park on the street or in a parking garage and pay the toll.

The room was clean and comfortable, with reasonable pricing for parking. And the staff was great!

Really well kept, friendly staff and decently quiet apart from the renovations happening on my final day, though that type of construction wouldn’t be a regular occurrence. Well situated on the near side of West Loop, good transit connections, especially to South Loop. Room was perfect for 1-2 people, clean with a full refrigerator, safe, microwave, TV- all updated and managed interiors. Spent much of my time away from the building and area, but travel back was never too long and it felt nice to crash at after a long day. Can’t comment on the breakfast/other amenities, but I have no complaints with my stay.
