The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, of course. The bed was comfortable, too.

So far it's ok, but sometimes in the middle of the night the sound from the TV in the next room seems to come through.

All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is also very tasty. The room is very comfortable.

My first time trying a staycation at Harper without any expectations, but it exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was varied and delicious, and the staff was friendly. Even my mom enjoyed staying here. It was absolutely amazing 👍

I stayed here for 2 nights from 2 to 4 August 2025. The entrance door was always problematic, even though it had been repaired and updated, it was still difficult to get into the room, the AC wasn't cold enough, (239), apart from that it was good.

I always stay here every time I visit Makassar. The rooms are spacious, the hotel is comfortable, and the location is close to the airport.

It's very close to the airport so you don't have to rush to get to the airport.

Because the hotel not directly close to main road, this is helpful for avoiding the traffic sounds. Good to have a short walk around the hotel. The restaurant’s staffs were very nice. I like the breakfast options. But one thing that needs to improve is the chair to working table. Unfortunately I can’t use the table to work a bit since there is no chair at all.

Harper is the first hotel we stayed at while traveling to Makassar, its close access to the city, to the beach and also to the shopping center. The right choice for us, besides the super cheap price including breakfast, also the place is comfortable, spacious, clean, the interior design is beautiful, very suitable for those who like photography, also the food menu is super delicious with a variety of choices, as well as the service is very pleasant, friendly, smiling, polite and kind, next trip to Makassar, we will definitely come back, always success
