I liked staying here. Otherwise from the loud music all night. It was great.

It's my second time at this property and i really enjoy it. It's closeby to shopping and nightlife. The beach is a 4 minute walk. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Property is located in a rough area where we were not able to walk around off the property.

Love the beautiful garden. Love the Jamaican breakfast i had each morning.

The environment, nature is preserved.

Quaint hotel with a lovely view

Owner and his staff were very accommodating and made us feel like we were family during our 10-night stay. Phenomenal view of the gulf from every position on the property, exceptional service, and great amenities keep us coming back every year for the past 10 years, and we definitely plan to be back again next year!

Would NOT recommend this hotel. The most uncomfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept on in my life!! Combined with music from the hotels events and bar next door until 5 am made for a bad stay. The rooms are outdated and need refreshing. Also, housekeeping entered my room unannounced unnecessarily two separate times which made me worry about the security of my valuables. Lastly, there’s no beach access at this resort. The rest of the hotel staff were unmotivated to assist with 2 front desk staff just rude. The plus…the hotel grounds are well maintained and views of the Caribbean ocean from the resort are stunning. The restaurant and bar served tasty food and drinks.

The view and property grounds is so beautiful. There are multiple well maintained very tropical feel gardens in all open spaces on the property. Beautiful views of the ocean from the rooms and outside. The place is a picture haven just ready to be photographed. The rooms are basic and a bit outdated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast service is very good with multiple choices and great wait staff. I was extremely surprised and very satisfied with my stay here. I would recommend to anyone if you can get past the noise from the surrounding community which is very local.

Very nice resort on the seaside with a nice beach, clean and comfortable rooms, and an excellent restaurant.

For the price, Hibiscus Lodge was as expected. The front desk staff could have had better customer service. Anytime I called to complain about not having hot water, their response “no one else has complained about this, but we’ll send someone.” Umm.. I don’t care what anyone else has complained about, I’m complaining now. Other than the water issue and outdated rooms, it wasn’t a terrible stay. The restaurant, complimentary breakfast, great bar, bartenders and nice staff everywhere else, made up for it. The stay was also in a convenient location, making it easy to walk around downtown Ocho Rios with no problems. Would I stay here again, most likely due to how cheap it was. Just make sure if you reserve a standard room, washcloths do not come with it. Bring a loofa or your own washcloths.

I loved that no matter what part of the property you are on, you always have a view of the beautiful ocean

Beautiful view, well maintained property, and staff was friendly/welcoming. Had just the right balance of quality and local vibe (not touristy). Not the biggest room, but they maximized the space perfectly, so that you didn't feel claustrophobic and didn't have a lot of unnecessary open space in the room serving no purpose. The verandah in the front of the room overlooking the sea was awe inspiring (if that daybed was bigger; I would have slept out there). Also props to the carpenter; as the woodwork throughout was on point. Great stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

This hotel was the highlight of our road trip, with fantastic view from our room. Staff really went out of their way to look after us

Lovely property. Clean and well maintained. Lots of quiet garden areas. Perfect for a wedding. In fact there was a wedding happening during our stay. Rooms were clean, we had some issues with the drain in the bathtub but the staff was responsive to try and fix the issue. The restaurant on site was excellent. Breakfast was included in stay and it was very good. The hotel is located right on Main Street so close to other restaurants and attractions such as Dunn’s River and mystic mountain was just a short 10 minute drive. There is access to the beach on the property. However Mahogany Beach is close by and it’s a short walk (less than 10 minutes). Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a smaller hotel option..
