2 brothers and 3 kids drove home for Tet, booked through the app at 9pm and checked in at 1am, left early in the morning, checked out at 9am and continued driving. At 1am, the receptionist asked for the children's papers, but they said they didn't have them and that there was no one in HCM to take pictures of the children's papers to send to them, so the receptionist told them to check in, rest, and then report to the manager for review. Early in the morning, I met another receptionist who insisted that this was a rule that they had to charge extra for children because they couldn't provide the children's papers, so they didn't agree that the children were the right age. Meanwhile, in Nha Trang, it was the same, they didn't make the same demands as here and charged an extra penny. It's worth mentioning that the receptionist collected 450k but didn't print a receipt to pay the guest, when I asked for it, they printed it out, stamped it, and left it there. They kept asking why I didn't sign and write my name, then signed it and threw it away, looking annoyed and not bothering to write my name on the receipt properly. Only once and never came back. The regulation of providing children's documents is not required when booking the app (if it was clearly stated, I would not book because I did not bring them during Tet), but the receptionist insisted that it was the hotel's regulation. Too bad for this hotel's service.
