A lot of character with very nice terrace. Lovely staff. Comfortable rooms.

Would not consider a 5 star hotel. Fire alarm went off for 5-10 minutes at 1:30am on our last night. Staff did not handle well as it was apparently a false alarm. The hotel needs a PA system to notify guests not to evacuate or give an update. No apology or mention from staff or management. Due to an early flight, we had to leave at 3:30am, so this ruined the couple of hours of sleep that we were hoping for. This review would be differently if this issue had been addressed.

The staff was fantastic! Shout out to Thomas for being an amazing host. The wait staff, location and food were incredible. This was my first time visiting Paris and when I return (which I will) I'll be certain to book this hotel again.

The staff is the best. Thomas made sure we were comfortable in our room and had everything needed. Bathrobes, slippers and the amenities are wonderful. Comforters are top rate and the internet is great. Pool is warm and sauna is clean.Enjoyed every minute.

The room was clean and comfortable; the bed and kitchenette were fantastic and the toiletries were of high quality, but the room (and hotel in general) would benefit from improved signage. The staff were generally very helpful and friendly, but this was let down significantly by their poor response to complaints - specifically when we reported that the pool was extremely cold and all but unusable, there was no apology or explanation of what would be done to fix it, despite this being one of the key attractions for this hotel. The area the hotel is in is quiet and away from the main tourist areas; ideal if you want less busy bakeries and restaurants.

Beautifully designed hotel, with friendly staff and a vibrant (and not too touristy) neighbourhood. I've stayed in Le Ballu before and think it's now become where I most like to stay in Paris. It's very walkable to, for example, Opera or Montmartre and has a direct metro line to the Notre Dame area, so it's very well located while also being a bit away from the tourist crush. The rooms are absolutely beautiful - an oasis of calm.

Very clean and service was very good!

Room, hotel lobby and dining area are extremely nice. Attractions are walkable and local transportation is close. The staff were always helpful.

The area around the hotel is quite nice. The room was extremely small. There was literally no space to open up a luggage. Also, the staff did not offer any help to take the luggage to our room, while there was an extra set of stairs for us to get to our room and there was no ramp.

Staff at front desk weee awesome. Nice location. Nice room. Convenient restaurant and bar. Pool and sauna.

This is a beautiful hotel on a pretty, quiet street in an interesting area of Paris. Everyone was very nice and we quire enjoyed our stay. Our room was reasonably large by European standards, and quite well appointed. The courtyard bar/restaurant is very attractive and a wonderful place to have a glass of wine or a nice desert. Great value.
