nice room

Very centrally located hotel. Staff was very nice and the breakfast, while not included in my room price was worth it. The bed was very comfortable as were the -pillows which often complain about.

Very central to everything! Love the architecture of the building and surrounds. Would stay again!

Staff at main desk were exceptional. Friendly helpful and made everything feel easy.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I made a wrong booking in terms of the dates and immediately reached out to Expedia to correct it. One of the 2 rooms I booked should be 1 night less and the other room should be 1 night more. Both Expedia and myself were not able to get any response from the hotel despite our constant effort and it was only half resolved (on 1 of the room bookings and not both), after I escalated this matter to their senior management. It had been quite a nightmare trying to coordinate this with the hotel and Expedia and the hotel just went radio silent when I tried to follow up. So be warned this hotel does not reply to any messages via Expedia nor their hotel support email address, which is appalling for such a reputable chain.

I had a very pleasent stay at your hotel. One tiny thing I missed, was a waterkettle and some teabags on the room. Otherwise excellent. Thank you very much!

I needed self check in and it was not pleasant and confusing process. Room was great and breakfast was fantastic.

Why are there no coffee/tea making facilities in the room? Everywhere else those are standard.

Decor was classy and room was well laid out and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful and showed initiative when providing information. Location was right next to Helsinki train station which was convenient but would have been better if there was a direct indoor link.

Very close to the train station, great breakfast options with freshly baked cinammon rolls that waiters come and serve you. Clean modernly designed rooms with good showers. And there is also to check in early for additional 70 euros. The bath towels are quite thin and you can tell its been quite used as the threads are coming off. And no kettle in the room, you have to go to the Reception to get it.

The room was very nice, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was excellent!

Everything was fantastic, if I had to make a comment it would be the extra charge to check in before 3 PM. The latter becoming very common in Scandinavia apparently. I’ve paid extra in two hotels just to check in 1 hr before 3 PM. Hotels.com should consider giving this option in pricing or negotiate with hotels as in the end, it’s all about up charging. Shame on Scandic and Clarion Hotels.

Room was very clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was AMAZING, and the hotel was in a PERFECT location. We traveled with our two small children and we could not have been happier with the experience.
