Was great staying at the Hotel, we booked through Wotif and they failed to send the confirmation through to the Hotel, the manager was great , he called after we left to say that someone had cancelled so we got a room after all. Can't get better service than that

Cheap. Good pub. Basic facilities but aligned with expecations relating to low price

Very accommodating staff. At this stage I've had to stay 2 more nights than anticipated due to flooding in the area. Room is clean Bathroom is good. Food is absolutely delicious. Well done to all involved

Overnight Saturday stay. Pub hotel accommodation is what it is. Bed linen fresh and clean. Rooms not air conditioned (missed that on the info). Bathroom facilities good. Staff very friendly and Saturday pub meal was adequate. If staying Saturday night be aware live band until 11:30pm. All in all a good stay and lovely location (Stroud) to wake up in.

Change in booking service meant our reservation had not been received, however the staff on site did an amazing job in accommodating us. Room was simple but clean and tidy.

Bathrooms dated.

Will visit there again for future family reunions

Nice views of hills and mist. Nice cafe across the street for breakfast.

Loved the country town atmosphere. Friendly people. Didnt like the broken tap above the shower bath so couldnt have a shower. Great experience.

Music untill 12, bed mattress terrible could feel the springs, smelly room , showers average, rooms need an upgrade , tv did not work . Not a pleasant stay

The room wasn’t clean. The empty bag from the chips was found in floor under the bed. The dust is everywhere.

Front bar packed with locals, no room for hotel guests. Staff not very welcoming and seemed not to show any interest.
