Very centrally located rooms, close to shops and Opera Metro station

This is an old, not very updated hotel. It was clean and close to many things, room and bath were small. My rating of "good" is not meant to be negative; good is okay.

Everything old dirty and dirty fridges un paint wall clack on ceiling bathroom towel has holes went in my wife and I couldn’t go in nasty den right away I rent on bigger nice blocks away From there

The management was very friendly and helpful. The room , although not fancy, was very spacious and clean with a balcony view. Location was perfect. Near the Opera train station and a few steps to many touristic areas like Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, Palacio Real and Puerta del Sol. Overall a nice experience. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Madrid.

My room was iffy. Not quite like the pictures. But the staff was amazing and it’s super convenient.

From the moment we arrived the host, Margarita was so welcoming. The room was clean and just as we had envisioned. Location was in walking distance of everything you could possibly want to do. 2 minute walk to Opera metro station.

This is a very dated facility, small, no USB charger, no table, fridge doesn’t work. Elevator sometimes broken. Owner doesn’t speak English. Check in was confusing, no front door, card sometimes doesn’t work. The only good thing is the location. It is close to metro, to palace, and to Plaza Major.

So the pictures on here are not what you will get. This hostel is OLD. The elevator is like 18” wide. The room has a very dated feel and the plaster was cracking. The bathroom was just as dated. Bad enough we checked in and out same night and found a place elsewhere

Ending our trip with a great location at Luz Madrid. Regardless of the language barrier, the service was great. Rooms were cleaned and accessibility with an elevator was a plus. Location was just at the middle of everything. Walking distance to many cafe and food options. I highly recommend.

Excellent margarita is the best

Excelente ubicación y limpieza del lugar. Es fácil de acceder y el staff es muy amable. La señora de recepción nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones turísticas.

Everything was good expect a leak of the AC/cooler which started dripping on our pillows both nights we stayed there.

I appreciated the owner who attended the front desk. Very helpful. Room is very clean as is the bathroom. The location of the property is excellent to walk to different attractions in the city.

El lugar tiene una excelente ubicacion, los cuartos muy completos, camas comodas, muy limpio y el personal que atiende muy amable. Nos encanto

La entrada del lugar no estan bonita pero las habitations son comodas para lo poco que estás ahi porque uno mas está afuera conociendo

Good place for a short stay, noisy as expected I downtown

Please note that this is room rental as the name implies; however, the place is very clean and the location is right in the middle of the city center. Plenty of great restaurants and shopping. The Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, Prado Museum, El Retiro Park, Via Grande are all walking distance from Luz Madrid Rooms.
