The location is quite strategic. There's also a 24-hour 7-Days, so it's easy to find snacks, meals, and water. The receptionist was also responsive and friendly.
We stayed in room 731, a large room. The bed and amenities were quite good. Although the room wasn't soundproof, we could still hear noise from the next room.
However, the bathroom's drainage was disappointing. After a short shower, water pooled in, causing a flood. This is a real shame. Hopefully, Ibis can fix this soon.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and located right in the city center, very close to the Great Mosque of Palembang, and within walking distance to the culinary center. The rooms are minimalist but comfortable, but unfortunately, there's no smoking option. If you want to smoke, you have to go downstairs to the outdoor area near the hotel lobby.

Great location, clean hotel, adequate gym and pool facilities.
The only downside, in my opinion: the quality and cleanliness of the towels need to be improved. (The towels had a strange odor and looked like they weren't white anymore.)

Since it was my first time in Palembang, I looked for the hotel I'd last visited, the Ibis Raden Shaleh Jakarta. I had high hopes that the hotel in Palembang would be similar. It turned out I made the right choice; the Ibis offers the same service, and it was very enjoyable.
