Hotels in Mueang Trat District

Extremely easy to find, and looks good both inside and out. Bonus: car wash across the street 😀 Cons: a) the hotel is plastic free, so no bin liners (where to dump the remains of our chicken dinner - sauce, bones and all?) b) our booking and payment was "pool view," see pic above. When the old A/C wouldn't stop rattling, we let the front desk know. We were offered another room with a new A/C, but no pool view. Spoiler alert: we should have taken it. Instead, we insisted on the view and stayed put. The A/C seemed to be working... till about 3 a.m., when (I think) it overheated, and to avoid the noise, we turned it off. Luckily it was a relatively cool night, so we managed, kinda, but later in the summer it would have been... well, difficult. In the morning we let the reception know. Hopefully, they'll take steps to avoid such mishaps in the future. Overall, would I return? The bed was comfy, breakfast was good, but I would prioritise sleep, so I'm not sure.

Very comfortable and clean, will stay there again for my next trip.

Trat Center Hotel is centrally located with street food around the corner & Rai Rang Night Market within 10min walking distance. Spacious, high quality room & the hotel staff were extremely helpful to my needs & I happily extended my stay for another 2 days when I was passing through Trat in March 2023. Highly recommended for your stay in Trat.

Surrounding with nature, mangrove, lake. Easily cycling with in the resort area. Quiet and cozy place to stay. It would be much much better if the staff are more willing to service, rather than standing in the counter and pointing finger or tell the client what to do.

Go to sleep before traveling to Koh Kood. In the morning, the room is still new. The bed is a bit hard, but can sleep. The bathroom is clean. But with a hair dryer, let the water warm quickly, strong water, not far from the city Privacy Breakfast can be eaten dead enough. Okay, for people who don't have a lot. Traveling 30 minutes to Laem Sok Pier is ok.
