IGUAZU JUNGLE HOTEL

The rooms are spacious, and the facilities are reasonable for the price. However, I would not recommend the hotel’s restaurant or pool bar. On our first night, dinner was decent — we ordered steak, salmon, and mushroom risotto for three people, and the bill was around $120 USD, which felt acceptable by US standard. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill after that. On the second night, we ordered two seafood entrées, and both were extremely disappointing. The seafood did not taste fresh at all and seemed as if it had been frozen for a very long time. When we shared our feedback with the server, he appeared completely uninterested and dismissive. The third night was even worse in terms of service, despite us ordering much less food. Staff at both the restaurant and the pool bar consistently had an unpleasant “whatever” attitude that made us feel unwelcome. We only ended up dining there for three nights because we were traveling with two elderly family members who were not comfortable going into town since the hotel is in a fairly isolated location. Otherwise, we definitely would have chosen to eat elsewhere. At checkout, we also found two unexpected minibar charges added to one of the rooms. The front desk removed them once we pointed them out, but the exact same thing had already happened to us at a hotel in BA, which left a very poor impression. Guests should definitely review their bills carefully before paying.

The hotel was better than the pictures suggested. The room was modern. The balcony had a wonderful view. The pools and the restuarant were great! The staff was outstanding. I would definitely recommend it!

Convenient location near downtown for evening fun. About 25 minutes from park entrance. Uber rides are easy and not expensive. Beautiful jungle style property with large jungle view terrace. Bedroom & bathroom very nice & large tv. Very nice restaurant. However, The street from rooms to restaurant is slippery & irregular shaped slate. Very slippery when wet. We used their complimentary golf carts every time we left the property. The young drivers were prompt and helpful. Only complaint is that room cleaning was not done when requested and they tried to do major construction work on room next door with hammer drill. Luckily, they agreed to postpone the work after strong complaint. But, all in all a nice place to stay. Would definitely return.

Really liked this place. The photos don’t really do it justice, especially the pool area with the swim up bar. Staff were all super friendly and it was easy to get Ubers to and from town if you don’t feel like walking. The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the sparkling wine was a nice surprise. Highly recommend booking a deluxe suite if possible.

It’s nice hotel, nice room, clean, good service. But no stores around and no Uber, taxi is limited if you don’t have cash which is hard to find a place to get either.

This is a nice little resort. We have only good things to say about it. Very quiet and private. Beautiful pools. The breakfast buffet was extensive with new pastries added each day. Dinners were good and not too expensive. The rooms are spacious, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Very hot and ample shower. And the staff was friendly.

My family and I had an excellent stay in the Iguazu Jungle Lodge. I wanted to stay in a property that felt more remote and, well, lodge-like than a standard hotel and the IJL delivered. The rooms are pretty conventional hotel rooms, don't get me wrong, but the property layout is neat, the restaurants and pool were terrific, the staff was very helpful, and you can get anywhere you need to via Uber.

Great spacious rooms and views of the river. 10min walk to the main town centre but we much preferred the hotel restaurant, great food and lovey staff who remember you from breakfast!

This is a beautiful spot. Restaurant was excellent for dinner and the daily breakfast. Enjoyed a wonderful lunch by the pool. Our room balcony looked out across the canopy of trees out to a river, and a water fall. Our suite was tastefully decorated and plenty of space. Staff was very helpful, and it was any easy walk into town for exploring, shopping and restaurants.

Excellent stay. Staff was attentive, helpful and respectful if you wanted to be left alone. Facilities are modern and our room was week equipped and very private.

Reception area in need of renovation. Elevators need repair. Restaurant very good, pool lovely

We would definitely stay here again when we return. Everything is very clean, the food is excellent and safe for international travelers. The staff was so friendly and kind to us. They were proactive and it was appreciated.

Breakfast was good. National Park was more than 30mins drive from this hotel.

Fantastic staff & lodge. Only complaint, you can’t drink the water & the lodge doesn’t supply much drinking water.

All was wonderful. Our beautiful room was down a long flight of stairs. Fortunately, they assisted with our bags. We are in our late 70’s and would never been able to do it ourselves.
