DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP WELL. Check-in was efficient & friendly. Our "Deluxe" room was on the 3rd floor & fronted onto Hindley Street with almost floor to ceiling windows - & therein lies the problem! The windows are old & in very poor condition. This meant that it was very difficult/impossible to sleep with the degree of noise from traffic, late night revellers, music from bars, bin lorries, street cleaning & hi performance cars/bikes revving their engines excessively. On inspection i found 3 windows that used to open, that had broken latches, but a crude attempt to screw them closed had only partially worked. One window could still be opened too easily for safety (a child could open it & climb/fall out). All 3 were loose, so allowed noise to ingress. Even when pushed firmly shut the noise ingress was only marginally better. The whole window installation is long overdue replacement. Additionally, fixtures & fittings were threadbare/cracked/chipped - but given the price point one MIGHT argue that's just about what you're paying for. The staff were very pleasant. However, the owners need to invest heavily in the property to support them.

The facility is dated, clean and quiet. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. The window air conditioning unit was able to keep up for our space. The water pressure in the shower was excellent but we had no hot water on two of our three mornings. The location is very convenient.

The rooms were clean and so was the bathroom It also had a working lock on the door to our room. I also found that the staff were always very friendly

The hotel is showing its age. The room I stayed in on the 5th floor had old furniture, dents and scrapes in the walls and the bathroom amenities were old beyond repair. There was mildew in the grout in the shower tiles and the toilet did not flush properly.

Friendly staff, so close to everything, always a great stay

Room had dirty dishes and some food left in the mini fridge. Carpet didn't seem vacuumed. I know they only had one cleaner that day maybe that was why.

Friendly Staff. Central Location.

I actually didn’t get to stay there because I didn’t have the $200 security deposit.. and therefore lost my $100.40 that was the room tariff… ParInga kept my $100 and provided nothing for it. I rang the next day with what I thought was a far more palatable outcome for both which was for them to credit me the $100 on a booking for tonight. I was polite and ‘cap in hand’ but the rude mgr delivered a tyrade and then hung up on me.

Bernadette, the manager was lovely and the accommodation was quiet and lovely for me and my two kids.

The cooling system was very loud and the water temperature was very slow to respond.

Staff was great, the room was not like the photo. Much older style than expected, hot water took ages, mins to eventually get hot. Room stuffy, no fresh air. For $105 we got what we paid for. Great location for food, transport and city life though!

Room was nothing like in photos. Dirty old box air conditioner. Frayed carpet. Bathroom old, wash basin cracked enamel. Both rooms booked bad. We left after 30 min to another hotel. Not good for families. Not worth it. Not a good area. Room overpriced for facilities. Unacceptable. Cannot recommend it to anyone. Only positive was staff member at check-in was lovely, friendly & helpful.
