ibis Newcastle

Ok for a night’s stay if all you need is a bed. The facility is very tired and needs maintenance

This Ibis hotel is alot more old / worn out compared to the other Ibis hotels I have stayed at. The hallways and room Carpets and walls has been better day. The room is clean. Has everything you need. For 1 night stay it is ok. Main Street is not a nice but surrounding areas is ok and easy to get around.

The clean room was perfect.

Very disappointed . Usually ibis has facilities for have a snack kettle toaster fridge. Was warm My wife was booked into have heart operation. I am eighty and I was stressed having a three hour journey to arrive at admissions for 7am . I rang the day before. Shown know compassion, just told that would cost more. I just needed a place to relax . The fire alarm went off with no explanation for a lengthy time. So though the hotel staff were pleasant, we had no money to spend on extras. It was a life saving trip not a holiday. So you could have been more compassionate given our circumstances

Yes, the breakfast was good. Staff lovely.

Staff not friendly, room was average bathroom is tiny and looks like a portaloo toilet runs for 10 minutes after flushing beds smell and are lumpy not comfortable, coffee cups supplied needed to be washed before use, we took the stairs as the lift sounds like it’s going to break down and the mini fridge in the room was old and had broken shelves. The whole place needs to be renovated not worth $194 per night budget places are better

Parking was safe and easy but we needed to pay for parking Convenient location

breakfast was terrible. mushroom was raw. not enough food in a buffet setting.

Had to change rooms after check in. The smell of the room was unbearable and there was dried blood in the bathroom. The staff we very accommodating and polite.

Good location close to shops and water front restaurants . Hotel in a bit tired and basic

When we arrived out the front of the lift was stained and dirty Once inside of the room was clean the toilet bowl was filthy stained

Great location for a concert in Newcastle. Easy prking.
