청결도나 서비스는 무난하지만 전반적인 가성비 면에서는 그닥... 도보로 시내 중심가나 기차역을 왕래할 수 있는 것이 최대의 장점.

Location is excellent. The facility inside were 20 yrs ago style. The mug are very dirty. Given the cheaper price, this is a ok. The buffet break only 17 bucks/pp, this is very reasonable. One night say is ok.

We got here in the middle of a massive storm and the staff were absolutely amazing so hospitable and went out of there way to help us whilst dealing with the situation.

Toilet smelling urine, shower head broken, strong smell of chemical in the room. Aircon not cold enough. $25 for parking… If you can spend a bit more just do it and go elsewhere

We arrived at 4pm and our room wasn’t ready but the lady at reception was super apologetic and gave us a complimentary beer and parking while we waited. Great for a stop over stay, decent location, you get what you pay for in terms of quality though

Front staff is very friendly and helpful but the room is not good at all. Lift, corridor and room is so old looks like a backpacker hotel. Ibis is well known company we didn’t expect hotel will be that bad, bathroom door very hard to lock, bed condition was horrible and so tiny room not enough space. Blanket was so old and that came from the cover make mess our clothes from the wool.

great stay

Got into room. Went to use toilet. BUT someone had used the toilet and let’s just say, left their mark and not cleaned it. Cabinets had water damage and were peeled. Don’t even start me on the lift, disgusting. Highly recommend NOT going here

Nice staff bed and bathroom clean but dust and cobwebs in corners . Entrance to lift very unclean

Check in was busy on Friday afternoon, one young man trying to cope with several people at once, then staff appeared from an office checked in one person then disappeared again, got to my room , 1 star, bins not emptied, bed looked like it was a rush job by cleaning staff,

Not a clean entry, staff stay behind the door and are never at reception, bathrooms in rooms are the same as a cruise ship plastic shell, rooms are tiny and not clean or up to date at all. Room service didn’t take the rubbish or give extra toilet paper on second day.

The venue was convenient, clean and a great location for accessing the city of Newcastle. I did need to use WIFI and, while it was available, it was a free low speed throttled service. I would like to have known in advance that I had to pay extra to access a usable data rate.

The staff were average. The hotel was like a rundown halfway house. I have stayed in cleaner and better looking backpackers. The hotel smells of cigarettes and stale beer, the lift had a urinal cake quality and the room itself had so many paint chips, warped and cracked furniture and my sheets had holes in them. It feels like a place that you would stay if yiu just wanted a place to pass out after a bucks night.

Service at check-in was slow due to the receptionist being busy serving beers. No room cleaning even though I was there for 3 nights. The manager apologized and assure me it would be done after night 2, but it wasn’t Breakfast on morning 1 was a shambles. Lights weren’t even on and staff still setting up the breakfast after the scheduled open time Breakfast on morning 2 and 3 was great Lift was grotty. 3 nights worth of rubbish in my bin was difficult to deal with Overall a very disappointing experience
