Garner Hotel VIENNA

I was very unhappy with the hotel, the only thing I liked was the location. The hotel was so small (we reserved for 4 people) we had very small beds but not enough room for our luggage. The bathroom was renovated but the temperature control was terrible that i almost burned myself while taking a shower. We had bugs and even we reserved 3 nights, we moved to another hotel after 1st night.

Big, clean room, helpful staff, ideal location for train station

The room was a fair decent size, bed was comfortable, location is very good close to Central Station and local station.

Stayed overnight and had a fine night. Right by the train station, so convenient location. Staff was very nice. Room was very clean.

Hotel in a good location for us. Right across the road from train station but also very close to metro buses and tram so no issue getting around. Room was great. Only issue was no Internet during stay.

Everything was spot on. Staff all very friendly. Spacious room compared to what we have often stayed in. Super comfortable bed! Warm and cozy. Location excellent. 2 min walk to station and eat to access metro or tram. Sorry ride from there to oif town etc. Only issue was no Internet the two nights we were there. Would recommend for sure.

Very good place

It’s surprising IHG group would allow this hotel to be linked to their brand. Unfortunately there are issues with the room which are the fundamental needed in a hotel room. I did bring these issues to the hotels attention and asked for a response but three weeks later nothing has eventuated. The shower water was cold, the shower area smelt musty and damp like a swamp. There was no room heating and the room felt cold. In the morning the lift door couldn’t be opened so I assume it was out of order. There is only the one lift. I’m sorry but I cannot recommend this hotel

It really worths the money and the location is excellent. It's just next to the central station where you can access to most places across Austria. The staff members were very friendly as well. Highly recommended!

Clean room, friendly staff

We had a very pleasant experience at the hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed during our stay. We always had hot water and experienced no issues at all. Additionally, the hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. We would definitely recommend this place.

Great location across from the train Station if you are coming from Bratislava & leaving to Prague. The only thing I’m not happy about was I thought I booked the breakfast with the hotel but apparently you still have to pay the breakfast up front once you do eat and checkout. Also, great location to some tour attractions. If you get there early, you can check ur luggage in a storage place for free and get it later when you get back. Overall I’m happy 4/5.

Minutes walk from train station

On the plus side, it’s across the street from Vienna Central Station and a quick walk to a metro stop. As for the other bits, there is NO A/C. There is also no fan available. You open the window and hope for a breeze. The TV is hit or miss and you could call reception - if there was a room phone. As for an iron/board, it’s not in the room and there was a lengthy discussion about my needing to leave a deposit for use of same to which they finally relented. Finally, the front of the toilet seat is positioned within inches of a wall making it a little challenging to heed the call when needed (especially the longer legged.) Room/shower was fine, there are a few stairs to get past before the elevator. Did I mention that they were close to transport?

Room was very clean. The bed and linens were very comfortable. Breakfast was great and reasonably priced. And we could sotre luggage!!
