We were travelling across Canada and stayed one night at this hotel. It was clean, a central location and provided everything we needed... which was a place to stay one night and in the morning we drove on. For our needs, it was great. This is a nice place and more of a destination, then just a motel along the road. I would stay again, and maybe for more than one night. Restaurant was walkable Breakfast included Tesla charging included. Hot tub was nice. Also saw two bears at the local national park... not near the hotel, but a few minutes down the road.

Air conditioning was on full blast, and the room felt like a walk-in cooler when we arrived, which was very nice after travelling on a very hot day. We turned it down to warm it up once we cooled off. The air conditioning is quieter than in almost every hotel I've been in, and it didn't cut in and out with a loud noise, which was very nice. Very clean, with lots of dark black, newer carpeting that was calming, and nice touches like providing earplugs and the way things were laid out, such as the towels on the bed and washcloths set out in the main room on the desk. Brand-new, fully renovated bathroom with brand-new fixtures, tub, and toilet (with a plunger just in case), and a comfy bed that was soft and not hard and uncomfortable like most hotels. Very quiet. Could not hear other guests, and the place was full. Breakfast had good options, but we were a bit late. Luckily, they still had availability and waited for us to finish before taking breakfast down. The lady cleaning up the breakfast tables was very thurough and cleaned everything very will. I was impressed. Staff were very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here to everyone. Love the fact that dogs stay for free in pet-friendly rooms. Our doggo loved it, and so did we. We will be back.

We left early at 5am. They allowed us to take something for breakfast. It was very nice. The coffee machine was in the room, so we had a hot coffee before leaving.

Room had walls painted black and (white) but I found the black very depressing. Bathroom was also black and needed brighter lighting. Internet was the weakest ever and I couldn't do any work on my computer as it kept freezing or dropping altogether. TV was also run by internet so couldn't even relax and watch TV. It kept freezing up and shutting down. There was only one bedside table in my room with a king bed. It had barely room for my CPAP machine let alone glasses, water, book or whatever else you might need. And no phone to contact the front desk. I didn't like the door security as I had to punch a code and there was no extra dead bolt as most rooms have. Staff were kind and did try to help. It was quite expensive for the quality and I would not stay there again.

The a/c was freezing when we got in the room. So hubby turned it off. The thick duvets were lovely, but probably were meant to be used in a cold room? They would be great during the winter!

There is no daily housekeeping service. There is no way to dry towels. There are no drawers or shelves for storing items. The "furniture" was a small and uncomfortable loveseat without arms; it was too small for me, and I am only 5'3". Breakfast was adequate and well-stocked if unimaginative and there were lots of high-protein options. The bed was very comfortable. The location was good and our room was quiet, rooms on the other side of the building likely had a lot of noise from the train tracks and highway.

Had a suite, living area had no windows and painted in black, with black grey carpet… just too dark. Musty smell in room. Very large room … view outside was back of restaurant and garbage. Media pictures we saw were of the new downtown building … not the renovated building we stayed at. A little frustrating. Breakfast was good, but needs to be coordinated better. Foyer could not handle all the customers. Customers had to stand outside and eat. Value for $250 … we will be looking for a different place next time.

The staff was the weakest part of the stay. The check in girl and the breakfast people need training to be friendly and smile. The TV was not working at all so I went down to front desk 8 pm and NO ONE was there. After 10 minutes the same check in girl walked by and never stopped at the desk or say anything to me?? Why? I phone about the tv not working and the guy said he was not even at the property and he could send someone in the morning. But we were only staying one night. The carpet looked new and room was clean and large.
