Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The bed/pillows were extremely comfortable to the point that I didn’t make it out after laying down, very clean, very compact (not too much room for activities) but for a night, great value. Would stay here again.

We picked this for a three night stay for sightseeing around Toronto, on a budget. This was the most reasonable when many similar were charging much more due to World Cup football. Staff were very welcoming and complimentary coffee and hot drinks were available in a small lounge next to reception. The room was small as expected but the bed was comfortable, a/c and shower good. In room fridge and coffee machine with microwave available in lounge The location of the hotel was good for transport links, and nearby attractions. There was a lot of social housing and care facilities in the area and some homeless persons, but we never experienced any hassles. Staff were attentive and helpful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was tiny, but if all you need is a home base because you plan on being out all day it works. Tastefully renovated room. The ramp outside is blocked to access; lifting suitcase up steep stairs was not ideal. AC worked well but only one setting—it was either on or off. I would totally stay here again.

My husband and I booked for 7 nights - I was in town for a conference and we planned to take some vacation days after. We only stayed 4 nights and got a refund for the remaining nights. There are several reasons why: 1) black mold all around the window frames, 2) ground floor room with no bars on the windows for security, 3) hundreds of ants gatecrashed the bathroom, 4) paper thin walls so even the smallest noise was a disturbance, 5) strong small of Febreeze or other chemical cleaner rather than actually smelling clean, 6) water overflowed the shower screen leaving a huge puddle on the bathroom floor each time we showered, 7) a massive structural crack along the wall under the windows, 8) bubbling in the flooring....I could go on, but that's probably enough to give folks a sense of what you're signing up for when booking this place. I've included some photos (some are screenshots taken from videos). To their credit, the staff were lovely and we didn't have to fight to get a refund for our remaining days. Overall, this place is absolutely not worth the price tag. Avoid at all costs.

This was more like a hostel. Room was small which was okay, but walls were very thin and I could hear people coming and going late into the night. Also when someone else flushed their toilet, it made mine flush too which was weird and proved poor plumbing. I was planning to stay for two night but left early because of how poor I slept the first night. They told me that I would still be charged for my second night since I changed my mind too late. I would not suggest this place unless you are young and don’t mind sleeping with loud noises. It also felt like a sketchy part of town. Would not recommend.

0 out of 5 stars. Worst hotel experience I have ever had. What was advertised on Expedia was nowhere near the reality. The photos do not show the huge construction high rise directly beside the hotel. Noise started as early as 6:30 AM with trucks, then banging and construction by 7 AM. Inside the hotel was just as bad. There is no sound isolation between rooms. I could hear people talking, TVs playing, and people above me stomping around like they were moving furniture. Even with earplugs, the bathroom fan, and AC on high, I still could not block out the noise or partying around 11 PM, despite the hotel saying quiet time starts at 8 PM. The building had an overpowering scent that seemed like it was covering something up. The room felt run down, with OSB painted white over the windows, mold in the bathroom, and a shower head spraying water everywhere. The staff were unprofessional. After I complained about noise, a staff member followed me to my room and questioned whether it was even loud. I was told cleaners come every second day, but after a full day of meetings, my room was not cleaned. No coffee, soap, towels, or toilet paper. Their solution was to blame me for not asking, then tell me to pack up and move rooms. After 30 minutes arguing in the lobby, I was handed toilet paper, towels, and got to pick out 3 coffee pods. I paid over $250 per night. Completely unacceptable and not as advertised.
