Toronto Marriott Markham

This Marriott did not disappoint. The rooms were beautiful, clean and well appointed. Elevators, corridors, lounge were all well maintained and inviting. We enjoyed our stay 100%.

Staff was super nice and helpful! The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back :)

Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay at this hotel. The property was well-maintained, clean, and provided everything we needed for a convenient visit. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay, and the housekeeping team was particularly efficient and accommodating. The room was comfortable and functional, with all the essential amenities. The only minor drawback was the hairdryer, which was the typical small hotel model and lacked power compared to what we would have preferred. The fitness center was compact but well-equipped, offering a good selection of both cardio and weight-training machines. We did not have an opportunity to use the indoor pool. One aspect that fell short of our expectations was the surrounding neighborhood. The area around the hotel was quite dusty due to ongoing construction, and it was not especially pedestrian-friendly. We had hoped to be able to stroll to nearby shops, cafés, and restaurants, but there was very little within walking distance. Aside from a movie theater and a chain espresso bar across the street, the area consisted mainly of roads, freeways, and residential high-rise buildings. The espresso bar offered snacks and sandwiches, but we found the coffee somewhat weak for our taste. The hotel’s bar and restaurant were convenient, but the food was average and relatively expensive for the quality. We were also disappointed with the coffee served there.

My room was very dusty. I struggled the breathe in it. The shower was dirty and had water damage. I will not be using this hotel ever again.

Great location! I love how many great restaurants were nearby so you don’t have to drive to get food. I love how modern the rooms are and shower was amazing. The rooms are extremely clean. Everyone is super friendly as well. Highly recommend.

Hotel is great. Pool/gym is nice. There are several restaurant options nearby. Parking is not included, so be prepared to pay an additional $20/day. Side note: Google maps doesn't have the best directions for this area yet.

Staff was very helpful and the hotel has a nice upscale feel.

I find it interesting that the daily rate fluctuates from day to day. The taxes is supposed to be made out to be the “norm” everywhere you go, but it’s ridiculous. A “MAT” charge on top of everything too!? The tiles in our washroom from the moment we walked in spilled water under our feet, when walked on. There is water under the tiles from the previous guests. A towel dried it up, but upon the next entrance into the washroom, our socks would get wet again. We opted to just leave the towel to constantly absorb the water. The fee for parking this year(was included /compensated last year)led us to ultimately want to go elsewhere for food and drinks. I wasn’t drinking or eating this year like last year at this location. We left for our meals this time around.

Had a great stay at Toronto Marriott Markham. The hotel was very clean, the staff was attentive and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was really nice. Everything felt well maintained and comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again.

Not worth the price. You charge $350+ per night, where in terms of amenities you make a 3ft deep pool and a tiny gym. Bad collections were very limited. On top of all these, you have to charge for petty things, like, 5$ to server cold breakfast in takeaway bag in the room, 10$ for a microwave in the room. Even the cheap motels do not charge for such things, and this hotel is doing so after charging more than 350$ per night
