Ive stayed at other hotels in the area and this was the best so far, and i dont see my search extending much further. It was quiet (no excessive noise from other guests or rooms) room was clean, the pool was a great temperature for my toddler. Overall great experience and will stay again

We actually planned a stay in thunder Bay to spend the afternoon swimming and then going out to dinner and have a good night sleep. They put us on the second floor way down the other end of the hall and there was no elevator. It was out of service. We are senior citizens and that was not OK. My husband has a heart condition and could not be doing that with luggage and everything. The room was very outdated. The washroom needed upgrading very much as there was mould on the tiles. And the room smelt musty. When we mentioned the location of the room due to the elevator out of service they accommodated the room and gave us one on the first floor after we explained the situation. This room appeared to be a remodelled and updated a much nicer location. When we asked about the swimming times, they said the pool was closed. That we were not able to use it. There was no compensation for this at all. We had planned our stay there on purpose so that we could swim. No ice machine you have to ask for ice at the front desk just a note. They get it for you out of their freezer. Air-conditioning worked great. Parking was fine as well. Lots of restaurants and amenities nearby. But I do not recommend Wacky’s restaurant. Terrible customer service.

The rooms were absolutely disgusting, mold on the tub surround, rust stains under sink on the floor, rooms smelled foul, beds were basically falling apart. Box spring visible walls were severely stained and the curtains had some questionable stains. Previous guess French fries left beside bed, room was beyond gross!! Made me even sicker I paid $250 to sleep 5 awful hours here as I arrived very late from a 1250km travel and just needed a few hours to rest. Soo bad please do not stay here!!

Old curtains did not fully closed. Mini fridge froze my fruits n veggies. The tv stand/ dresser was collapsing in the middle. Time to upgrade. I have pictures. Where do I upload the pictures?

Avoid this place. i arrived at 2am after car trouble. The guy at the desk (i believe it said his name was Christopher Payne on duty) opened the door a crack and told me they didnt have any rooms. I wondered if they had given my room away because the parking lot was pretty packed. But when I gave him my name he begin searching (slowly while me dog and all my stuff were in the car). he said my debit card wouldn't work for a deposit. i have never stayed in a hotel in the north that would not take a cash security deposit. I was about to ask him why it says they accept Apple pay but he took a phone call and he was so nice to the person on the phone, I have yo wonder if it were a man on the other end. Because he had no qualms about leaving a single woman to sleep in her car the parking lot. when i did try to do this, three people came through the lot. The two women told the man in the group they were going to give him the best sex of his life. my dog was so stressed and I was so afraid of sleeping out there with all my stuff in the murder capitol of Ontario, that I just got coffee and started driving towards my next stop Sault st Marie, after I had been driving from Winnipeg. Disgusting. . Disgusting service from the start, even before the card issue. then to not even humour the notion of finding a way to help a single woman get a few hours sleep in a safe space, In the middle of the night when the room was pre paid online. Horrible

Staff was obviously overwhelmed by the influx of clients demands. There was only one staff at the front desk and the poor guy was also trying to solve to everyone’s issues. On my end, there was dried blood on the bed sheets and living and dead bugs in the room. The hotel was completely booked so I could not have another room. The front desk clerk did his best to find me other beddings. They however had limited supplies and he was only able to find a wool linen. He apologized profusely and really tried his best to accommodate the patrons
