The Dragon Hotel Hangzhou

Really great experience! Top notch service! Kudos especially to front desk manager Fanny and breakfast buffet host Brett, whom went above and beyond their duties to accommodate our baby! Brett would reserve our table every morning and get our coffees and baby chair ready without us asking. We really appreciate them both. The only downside to the hotel is the lack of restaurants and shops next door, which makes going out a bit harder.

The environment is excellent but not suitable for business trip. Internet very slow. Front desk cannot exchange cash to Chinese currency.

The room we were given after checking in was moldy, had stains on the carpet and the curtain was not properly attached to the railing. We insisted on having the manager look a the room so he could personally see the conditions of the rooms in his hotel. The manager did not speak any English so had one of his employees act as a translator. After showing them the moldy shower, the translator asked what the problem was!?!? We pointed out the mold in the shower and the other problems with the room (curtains, and stained carpet) and they agreed to move us to a different room in a different tower. There was a small amount of mold in the shower in some difficult-to-reach places new room, but overall the new room was quite clean and pleasant and in good condition. If you book a room here, keep in mind that unless the hotel staff thinks you are someone important, or are willing to complain, you may end up in a very poor condition room. The first room we were given was worse than many rooms I've had in cheap travel motels in the USA.

This is a five sta4 hotel that really is five stars yet it is reasonably priced. The hotel is dry clean, updated, staff really cares and the location is fantastic if you wish to be close to west lake. The gym is also aws9me and the casual local restaurant is wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The only thing to be aware of ( if coming from the us) is that not mainy of the staff speak engliish so communication can be challenging, but also fun, they really try. Great place

Huge, beautiful hotel with large rooms, great pool and gym. There is also a spa, an amazing bakery and several restaurants. It is very safe and the staff is quite helpful even when language is a barrier. The bakery has items you can pick up and the buffet restaurant is awesome. The Spanish restaurant is very, very good; kind of a foodie place. Did not try out the spa but it looked very nice.

Good service and value for money. Within working distance to the West lake.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff who made our stay so memorable

Amazing and I would stay here again. Beds and pillows are awesome, and room and bathroom are spacious. Lot's of plugins which is awesome for the business traveler. Staff were all kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was the only down side.. I thought the selection was a bit small. But would still stay again next time I am in Ningbo.

Great as akways. It's the fourth time that I choose to stay multiple nights here. It's a wonderful place. I wish the food wasn't so expensive.

This hotel was very comfortable and within walking distance to Westlake. Very good staff, clean and quiet at night.

Nice and large room

Great AC location in the room so that it does its job, but does not send cold air straight onto you, so that you freeze at night. Very impressive! Have no complaints about the room whatsoever as everything is extremely well thought through. The only drawback of my stay was the restaurant food which I felt was overpriced for the quality and variety it provides.

Was part of a delegation and thus one of a number of similar visitors. The hotel was well organised and coped with us all very well and efficiently.

Good hotel close to airport, 400m from terminal. Can walk or take free shuttle.

Upon arrival to the Hotel we were cordially greeted and registered in a timely manner. Even though we were early for check in and our room was not ready, the hotel was apologetic and upgraded us to a larger room at no additional cost! Staff were more than helpful with any and all of our needs regarding places to eat, getting to our particular areas of sightseeing and just assuring we were cared for. I was especially grateful to staff person Johnson. He made a point to remember our names, the room we were in and checked to assure all our needs were being met. Of the hotels we stayed in throughout our time in China The Dragon Hotel was our favorite. An excellent hotel with excellent staff. I highly recommend this hotel!

This is a truly amazing hotel just be forewarned that the restaurant is fabulously overpriced (although excellent).

Hotel is great far from west lake. Sky has given great service. Executive lounge charges are complicated!!. Big problem with service in the morning at breakfast placw place

I stay here a few times and the hotel is close to where I need to do my meetings. And easy to get from the airport. One of the top hotel for Hangzhou.

Excellent hotel with many things going for it. The price is not too out of reach and facilities are good, especially the Gym. The garden area is worth a look and enjoyable.
